Alright so, I'm Dutch and here in the Netherlands we have something called a surprise. I know what your thinking 'what do you mean that's a Dutch word, we have that too??' but here's the thing. In Dutch you pronounce it 'sur-prie-suh' and it's basically something we make when we do Secret Santa.
Instead of just getting assigned someone and wrapping the gift you got them, you create this whole thing based on what they like to put it in. So, say someone loves books, you could make a fake book and put their present in that. It's fun.
Last Christmas I did Secret Santa with my friends and we too made surprises. I painted a box and then I drew something which I later glued on to the box.
