reimagined Vox was a spy in ww2 and a private detective (both before the war and after)
when alive he was hired to find serial killed who was doing imposable killings. He found that it was a popular radio host whom he had worked with before to report on the killings. this was Alastor this discovery is what led to Al death. they had the same goal to get justice but have very different ways of doing it.
he joined the war to try to get some justice in the world but after it was over he started to fall into greed and alcohol witch is what eventually killed him.
in hell he continued to be a private detective and his most resent job was from angel dust to find if Valentino has any weaknesses (Vox and Valentino don't know each other) so now he's trying to find an old friend turn rival for help.
