back when Husk was an overlord he ran a casino where he would let people "win" and then he would come to play a game with them where he cheated and win there soul he did this until one day Alastor came in. Husk seeing that one of the strongest overlords was in his casino he went to go challenge Alastor and this challenge was excepted and was a all or nothing game, in the game not one of his cheats was working its like his mind was being read, in the end he lost it all. it was his own staff that ratted him out, they told Alastor his secrets.
thought his soul was now owned by Al he was aloud to live his life but now he had to start anew this time at the bottom. nowadays he owns a small bar near the Hotel. while Al was gone he was one of the only one who knew he was alive as if Al was dead he would have gotten some of his old powers back.

Alastor and Vox knew each other when alive he and Al worked together Vox being a private detective and Al a radio host that had covered crimes and murders on the show (including his own). but eventually Vox found out as he was looking into the killings, and the police got involved as well as dogs this is what lead to Al's death.
when he arrived in hell he had torn through pride kill many, this caused most to see him as a monster but they never knew why. the reason was that he kills people who he sees as evil and hell was and still is full of evil people.
