I'll Find You in the Mist, Always || Muichiro x Reader

𝟙𝟟.𝟝 𝕊𝕚𝕔𝕜𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤

Sorry for the delay. Again. Um yeah I don't have an excuse, just been a bit down lmao :/

Muichiro had been sick for the past day and Shinobu forbade me from seeing him. Something about not wanting to deal with two sick teens being flirty in her estate. Ha I don't know what she's talking about. 

I just came back from a mission that they HAD to put me on when I was relaxing on my supposedly "break." I mentally facepalmed myself knowing that there were never any breaks in life, especially with demons still roaming the Earth. 

I could sneak in...YEA I COULD SNEAK IN AND NO ONE WILL NOTICE!! No what if I get caught...but it'll be worth it...no...yes? I shook my head in frustration.

"What's there to lose..." I mumble. 

I try my best to quietly tip-toe over to the Butterfly Estate without anyone noticing. I sort of smell like shit right now after my mission but I hardly think anyone would be able to smell me from this distance, minus Tanjiro. 

"Tokio-san just drink the medicine it's how you get better!" I heard one of the three girls shout followed by the sound of a cup hitting the ground. Hmm I'm pretty sure Shinobu is out, so...

"What's going on in here?" I shoved the door open and stood in the doorframe. All I see is the medicine cup on the ground and one of the three girls soaked in medicine. 

Don't laugh at children Y/N...don't laugh...A smile crept up on my face but I bit the side of my cheeks to stop the smile from actually forming. 

"Tokito-san won't take his medication! Tomioka-san please help!!" Do I want to though, I'm kinda tired myself...

Because of the girls' pleading, I finally gave in and poured a new cup of Medicine. 

"Drink up Mui," I said as I handed him the cup.

"No." WHAT DOES HE MEAN NO.

"Drink it." He shakes his head again. "It can't taste that bad..."

"Yes. it does," he muttered and faced the other way. 

"Hey um girls, can you leave the room it might get messy in here," I smiled and had an irk in my forehead. 

They blinked a few times and ran out. 

"DRINK THE FUCKING MEDICINE MUICHIRO!" I held him down and tried to force him to drink the substance. 

Muichiro was trying to squirm away from my grip, and he ended up splashing the liquid on me as well. I am TOO TIRED to deal with this right now.

I sat down and sighed, "Please...JUST DRINK IT!" The look I had in my eyes right now was saying something like 'I'm going to kill you,' but I guess Muichiro was taking it as 'you don't have to drink it.'

He's gonna regret this later, no cuddles for a week or something like that. 

"Oh my goodness what's that?" I pointed to the right of him, and when he turned his head, I practically forced him to look at me and poured the drink down his throat. 

"Was that so hard?" I gave him a warmhearted smile, acting like this event never happened. 

He rolled his eyes and turned his body away from me. Oh so now he's acting all moody. Too bad. 

I pushed him to the other side of the bed and joined him, hugging him while lying down.  

~ The Next Day ~ 

I found myself coughing and sneezing while Muichiro was feeling all better and was going back to training. 

"You did it to yourself." Muichiro dared to say that to me? I glared at him and that sure sent chills down his spine. 

After that fight with Uppermoon 5, he was more expressive than usual, not that I was complaining. 

Though, I went in for a hug. He really was my weakness. I could never stay mad at him, be apart from him, or lose him. I'm usually an independent person but he just brings out the person that wants to depend on someone and wants to just stay and be cared for. 

I smiled at the thoughts that ran through my head, sneezing a few times here and there. 

"You're smiling like an idiot," he hugged me back and remarked.

His sassy side didn't go away though. I'm glad

"ACHOO" I sneezed on his shoulder. "My bad..." I patted the area where I sneezed and started to run away from him.

He chased me after that and tackled me on the floor. I don't want this to change. 

Yep, it was short, sorry. I almost cried like 3 times while making this :P hopefully I can get out another update.
