Chapter 5.): "Self-Defense Training Gets Real Weird Real Fast."

Chapter Summary: In any world involving a truly hazardous nature of life, such as theirs: "you're either trained and able to fight, or enslaved, or dead" summarizing the nature of life in Sunnydale Ca. in this story's show's universe; you have to assume that self-defense training would be very thorough very fast. Herein lies one of the kookier things that could easily happen... as the author finds out.

Main element of this story's conflict really is "young teenage woman verses herself." to summarize this story's nature- it really is a "protect me, Lord, from what I want for myself mayn't be good for me; and thus is far more in line with the earliest days of her faith's movement than today in the departments that impact her; but it is also a candid exam of human condition since original sin in one department.

"Well, that was bizarre..." Cordelia said, walking into the girls' bathroom where I had been sitting on the sink table relaxing in a free period; I realized that she had seen me involved in a "Car Jitsu" match with my twin; one that had left Queen C thoroughly confused. Soon thereafter, Kennedy walked into the room, and explained that I'd sat on her after handcuffing her in a wrestling match we'd had in my car, course I'd taken her into the back-seat thereof, handcuffed her with my own pair thereof, and sat on her lap, only to finish up with straightening my skirt and wiggling a bit on her lap. Now don't get me wrong: I love my sister to death- in some ways; in ways that I shouldn't. It is not that she's not pretty; oh, she's stunningly gorgeous! It rather is that I find myself primarily attracted to her physically, not to her personality. but mostly to her for her body above all. I don't want to "screw" my sister- that kind of misbehavior scares me; not the act itself, but what it entails, Mum's course material has warned me off from that kind of thing: besides: it is far too close to what she did to Kenny's dad, and with him!

"I'm also above her in the pecking order of our home-life, isn't that true, Sweetheart?" I asked Kenny, pointedly looking her in the eyes before hugging her; stressing the compliment I'd given her. This was partly a means to throw her off-balance; I know: poor sportsmanship, but I frankly liked to gloat over her in my victory in that wrestling match in my car this morning- one that Queen C had happened to observe some of. We were decent, so don't let yourself get your head stuck in the gutter; but it had to be comical to watch that sparring match in close quarters between two girls. About then, Buffy walked in, in some kind of an argument with Faith and Willow over some kind of matter from class- it was a three-way argument; and it proved funny to watch this situation result in three pretty girls yelling at oneanother and talking over eachother. I have to hand it to my friend Buffy; and her pals: they controlled themselves well in this heated debate. I didn't know quite what it was; but it was about very firm feelings.

Now don't get me wrong: I do appreciate deeply my sister's faith's arguments that marriage should last till death; one reason I don't trust my Mum right now very much is that she wrecked my stepsister's family by stealing it from Kenny's mum; that kind of acting up really does it to destroy trust, among everybody who finds out about it; and it will be known, if only through the course of time. Then making her victim pay her child-support via court-order for having had her family stolen from her, and work for her in the meantime; so she basically owns Kenny's mum; that one really does take the cake for evil conduct to begin with! She's making her work in her businesses elsewhere away from her family, having had the courts bar her from visiting her daughter; while the adulteress who wrecked her family is raising her daughter?! Good golly that's profoundly evil conduct! And she makes, from the records, her victim pay her almost every single red cent she pays her- talk about wrong conduct, Mum; Really Really Wrong, you stole her mum's family and practically enslaved her mum! No wonder she hates you; and basically; I don't blame her at all- that was something really Hellish to do, and ya did it alright!

I was, as should be clear by now, thoroughly p-i-s-s-e-d off at my mum for her role in demolishing Kenny's family; oh, I love having a sister; but almost half of our relationship is us sorting out a pecking order; and having trounced her in a "car jitsu" session, I was pretty smug about that, course when I sat on her lap, her hands were cuffed behind her back, and I had the delight of watching the other students observe me carrying over my right shoulder my twin into the school. I was truly grinning like a maniac, and laughing my head off in our encounters when I was able, course I was also messing with her head whenever I could, if only to throw her off-balance. Mum had already told me that *I* was going to be the one administering to her her test; and that power thrilled me- but it also, as the fable "Balance of Terror" makes clear: "power is danger", well... dangerous, maybe. Nay, absolutely, especially if ineptly handled- which's why our training program exists: to prepare people like my sis for handling the dangers in the world for them!

It was fun to be promised to be able to arrange her test; oh, I don't want her physically damaged, so likelihood of using a vamp or demon is out; and that brings up the mechanics of how precisely to carry out this test for her seeming graduation; some double-checking with Mr. Giles gave me some scary details; Kenny and I don't share the same faith, but hers includes some books that have real wisdom that mine doesn't; tales that include some truly frightening parts of our mutual desires: such as a demon pimp as the monster in one of the chapters of religious text; that thing's influence has been running riot today- and ever since a throwback event to the oldest parts of human civilization, if Jean Jack Rousseau was correct of the earliest ways of life of mankind- a truly frightening thought; but it does clue me into some details in catechism: such as Christ insisting on truly radical changes in how man relates to man- that kind of a true "revolt" would indeed be sound. I know well what slavery to the desires of the flesh would entail, and they're NOT friends of me or my sister: we'd be intimately raping eachother on a daily basis if it was to be embraced and not opposed- that's some scary stuff, believe you me!

Well, got to get ready for classes; so I've got to finish this one up; but it was really funny to explain about our "car jitsu match" I and my sister had- we're basically "ever-loving-rivals" at that in a lot of ways. In some ways, like I clarified to Buffy; a bit like herself and her kid sis, Dawn; when the two of them were involved in video-games: they're heated rivals in that regard, but very protective of eachother, so it is between me and Kenny.

Sincerely your friend, my journal,

Jessie.

P.S. More to Come.

End Chapter #5 Author's Notes: I wanted to convey a morally sound story that's both friendly and goofy in this; and in that regard I made a true success. Plus her dealing with that conflict in this- something very human. She doesn't want to take advantage of her sister; in fact, it is a mix of pity and empathy for her stepsis's suffering; and she's rather berserk towards her mum over the lady's acting up that her mum did engage in.

Since this gal's cast as a Brit; I'm using some of her dialect in that regard, for consistency's sake.
