you would think that after sacrificing yourself many times for the people you love and for the people you believe should get a second chance, you would finally find peace with your birth family, but no.

I'm Athena Valiant and once again, I've come back to life. But this time, it's different. I have no way of returning home. I find myself resurrected in a world I've only seen on TV, The Vampire Diaries. Why have I been placed here, and what must I do to finally find peace?

Athena P.O.V

"Wake up"

"You need to get up. We have school."

"WAKE UP ATHENA"

I shoot up from something soft beneath me. My gaze fixates on someone standing at the end of the bed.

I pause and ask myself, "Wait, where am I?" As I look around, I notice that I'm in a black and white bedroom that matches my style. Strangely, I have no memory of how I ended up here.

I remembered someone standing at the end of the bed. I turned to look and saw a stunning blonde girl with a slender and well-toned figure. Her eyes had a captivating shade of light blue-green. She had a feminine style and wore bright colors.

I squint my eye to get a better look at this girl as she seems familiar to me, Caroline... Caroline Forbes, what the hell happened to me?

all I remember was resurrecting a few people with a soul and life dagger that take my life and soul to put in the dead for them to be alive once again.

I didn't expect to wake up in the VAMPIRE DIARIES

Did they bring me back? No, I told them to not intervene again and to not bring me back. How did I get here?

"Athena, are you listening to me?"

getting my thoughts together, I snap back into focus and look up at Caroline.

"No sorry, what were you saying?" with a confused look.

I watch as Caroline rolls her eyes at me "we have school, it's first day and my friends are excited to meet you, I've told them that mum was going to adopt a child and when the foster care said they have no idea how you got in their system, mum adopted you."

"Now get up we have school, and I don't want to be late because of you, now chop chop," trying to quickly gather up everything Caroline just said to me as she's walking out of the room I'm in.

So, I'm a foster kid again, great. Note the sarcasm, but this time in a pleasant house with nice people.

Wait...if I'm in a new world and a kid again, how old am I and do I still look the same?

Quickly getting out of this bed, I run to the mirror and look up at my reflection.... UH NO......ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME IM 17 AGAIN

it's okay Athena, just breathe you're okay, being 17 is not all that bad it okay.

at least I still look the same but younger, long black midnight hair that finishes to the middle on my back, with captivating Siver and white eyes with a glowing honey skin tone.

Do I still have my scars? Taking off my long sleeve t-shirt, I look at my body and see all my scars still all over my body, while a look at them, I trace one of my scars as I do that I'm draw in by a memory.

"Say something, you stupid little girl," he says, spitting his words in my face and slaps me.

I've been here for two years, getting tortured for no reason. I haven't even said anything in two years... why did my father give me away to them? I have no one anymore. They took my family; they took my brothers and my sisters and even my mother. What did I do to deserve this...did I not fight hard enough, I did try...I really did, but they're so much a 6-year-old can do at that time.

Getting back to reality, I remember what Caroline said: it's the first day at school which means the firsts day of the vampire diaries.

What the hell do you even wear at a school? I've never been, just self-taught.

okay from what I remember from watching the show, the characters wear what they want, so I'm just going to do that.

seeing a door near the mirror, I walk to it and open it to see clothes hanging and drawers too... okay, so these are my clothes.

after look thought some clothes I found a white t-shirt with a rose on it, I found black Jens with a belt and a jacket with Chunky Heeled Mid-Calf Boots, okay I can work with this.

Going into the bathroom, that I found I see a hairbrush that has black hair in it, which means that this is my hairbrush. I start to brush it and as I finish, I heard Caroline yelling from down starts.

"ATHENA ARE YOU READY BECUASE IM ABOUT TO LEAVE"

"YEAH, IM COMING NOW CAROLINE LET ME JUST GRAB MY BAG"

I walk out of the bathroom and see a bag on the ground, so I quickly grab it and walk downstairs to Caroline, who was standing at the door.

"Sorry I took a while" I apologies to her, its hard finding clothes when you have no I dear what is even in your closet in the first place.

"it's okay, let go. We don't want to be late." I nodded at her, ready to go to school.
