Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore had just finished his chat with a drunk Mrs. Cole and had a good feeling about this Tom Riddle according to the matron he is just the sweetest kid you will ever meet. Good student, best in his class, does his chores without complaining, helps the other kids around the orphanage even wants to be a doctor when he grows up.

He didn't quite believe everything she said so he asked the other kids in the orphanage she had said something about them being a little weird around him but they told him even more stories about how great Tom is healing wounds with a touch, helping them study, playing with them and his friend Harry who sewed clothes for them, read some of the younger kids stories and was very good at cooking and baking.

So, now he just had to talk to him know whether he has to spell the sorting hat to make sure he gets sorted into Gryffindor or not. He arrived at the door the other kids told him about and almost gaped because in front of him was red and green magic surrounding the door not merging yet also not clashing not surprising him because one was Crucio red the other Avada Kedavra green but because it kept out all of those with evil intentions. In other words him, he sighed in relief as he found a loophole then the significance of the magic hit him. Yes he thought Tom Riddle will be a wonderful addition to the Order of the Phoenix just like that girl Minerva.

He knocked once before opening the door not waiting to be called in. The room was cold, freezingly so, he cast two warming charms on himself before looking inside. The room he saw was small a window opposite the door, a desk under it, 2 beds on either side of the desk and a wardrobe in the corner. Two boys turned to look at him at the same time brown eyes and emerald green eyes the same look of curiosity as they looked at him.

He saw magic surrounding them lots of it and knew it properly cultivated they would go down in history books. He recited the normal spiel, saying something, yet not quite, waiting to see how they would react. Unlike the others who had been fast to disbelieve interrupting him time and him again they waited patiently until the end. Him going in circles didn't seem to bother them.

He sighed. Then simply asked if they had done anything weird or unusual that they couldn't explain in their life. They looked at each other seemingly communicating because in the next second their hands lit up. Tom's with fire and Harry's with light and each word they said made him know he made a wonderful decision.
