Chapter 7

(Y/n) Sr's POV:

I opened my eyes, thinking that I would be in the bed I fell asleep in, but I was so wrong

I looked around the empty throne room, from the throne itself, my eyes adjusting to the darkness. There was a slight amount of light coming from the large window on the right. It was red light, but it was enough to notice my godly family members kneeling before me on the throne. Elder Shine was at the front, but when he looked up, I saw something I thought I'd never see on his face

Fear

"Emperor (Y/n). We have completed the task you put upon us. They are outside in the courtyard" Elder Shine spoke, his voice shaking

"Elder Shine. What's going on?" I asked in confusion "and what was the task?"

"Don't you remember?" Dad asked, the same fearful expression on his face as well

I shook my head

"You went on a rampage and almost destroyed the Isles and the Stars. You then ordered that if anyone didn't obey your orders, they would immediately be killed" The Collector explained, everyone else nodding

I stood up, worry and fear also filling me. They flinched as I walked towards Elder Shine

"Take me to the task I asked you to complete" Elder Shine nodded immediately standing up as I followed him outside to the courtyard

What I saw in the courtyard however

Broke me

There lay the bodies of everyone I loved. Luz, mamá, Hunter, Amity, Vee, Edric, Emira, Skara, Willow, Gus...all of them

I started hyperventilating. Feeling panic rise in my chest for the first time in my life. Luz's hand moved, and she crawled towards me. Placing her hand on my foot

"Why..." She whimpered, tears running down hers and my face "I was your sister. Why did you do this to me...to us..."

"I didn't- I-"

"Why..."They all said in sync. And that's when my body moved on its own and I sped towards the sky my wings being summoned as I flew over the Boiling Isles

Everything was in ruins

Children cried on the broken, dirty streets, unable to be comforted

Adults scorched the Isles for food and water or just anything to keep them alive and feed their kids

Unemployed guards lay on the street in pain, feeling as if they should give up

Elderly demons and witches dropped like flies, unable to continue

Had I really done this all?

"Not yet" A voice spoke in my head as everything around me went black

"Nothing like this has happened. But not yet. Your power is becoming strong enough to become uncontrollable. And it will reach this exact point. But, I can help you. All you have to do is join me. And I can make this happen" Everything went back to normal as I sat on the throne once more, but this time, it was diffrent

Everyone sat around the table, laughing and playing games. My father and mother bonding as if they knew each other for an eternity. My friends from camp Half Blood and Jupiter there, everyone having the time of their lives

I too, was in the middle of a game with them. I was playing Hexes Hold'em with Luz, Vee, And Hunter. They were all laughing and having fun

My other side of the family was bonding with the Blights. Getting to know each other
