First meet..

You had been out if town for awhile because you moved back in with you parents but after they unexpectedly kicked you out you had no choice
but to go back to East Highland, so you texted rue telling her the news

you text her excited about what she's Going to say..

ONG IM INVESTED NOW TELL ME

She responded wanting to hear more

Look outside..
You said mysteriously
Uh okay whatever you say????
Rue was clearly very confused

She saw you outside and ran out to hug you and spin you around
"OMG Y/N YIUR HEREEEE!!" she yells softly very clearly suprised by your presence
"Wait? Why are you here"
She drops you and raises one of her eyebrows
"oh uhm my mom kinda kicked me out.."
You explain lowering you voice with each word
"Oh I'm sorry...you can stay with me if you want?" Rue asks you still a little bit confused
You almost say yes, but then just decide to go stay with Nate instead (Your cousin) "Sorry rue I would but I told Nate I'd stay with him whilst this all blows over" you say disappointed in yourself. "I'll see you later though!"
You say trying to brighten the mood
Rue nods her head and walks back inside

You arrive at Nate's house waiting outside for him to open the door....
After waiting for a few minutes he gets the door and hugs you
"Oh my god it feels like forever since I've seen you" he says through his teeth
"Yeah it does, doesn't it" you softly giggle
"How old are you now?" Nate says looking at your face trying to figure you out
"I just turned 15" you reply

"oh yeah I remember now" Nate laughs and gestures to the spare bedroom upstairs

"Wow I forgot how peaceful your house was" you say looking at every once of the house

Nate nods slowly almost sad looking. He grabs your bags up to the room and sets them down on the floor and walks out
"My...god.." You say in disbelief from previously forgetting what this massive room had looked like
"thanks Nate..for brings my bags in!" You say still exploring the room
"Yeah no problem" he says
"Oh yeah there's this party on tonight if you wanna go...or you could stay in here and be bored" Nate adds
"I'll think about it.." you don't think you'll go just to gett settled in but you might suprise some people with you being there...hopefully rue hasn't told anyone about you being in town

Since you haven't really been around much you decide to take a walk around town before it gets to dark
"Hey Nate just going for a walk around" you yell out from the other end of the house you bring 10 dollars with you since you want to find a store somewhere. You're walking around mindlessly not having a care in the world when finally you find a small shop. You pull out your phone

"shit I gotta be quick" you mutter to yourself
You walk in the store and the nostalgic sound of a bell rings
"Wassggood if you need help finding anything let me know" the man said speaking slowly but sorta calmly

You acknowledge him by nodding. You pick up a pack of gum and a Gatorade, as you walk by you see a boy in the back around your age glaring at you..
You wave at him but he ignores and quickly puts his head back down

"That's a bit strange" you think to yourself

As you approach the counter the man with the ginger long beard says to you
"Yo I seen you wit rue one time..you know rue?"

You look a bit surprised considering you don't know him but respond with "yeah rue is like my best friend how do you know her?" You question him

"I'm fezco man..you can just call me fez any friend of rue is a friend of mine- she like my fam y'know bro" he says doing random hand gestures

You softly smile at him as you hand him the 10 dollars you bought with you
"Thanks fez" you say walking out of the store

He throws up 2 fingers waving at you.
