chapter 1 how it all began

It was a bright morning as the hairy hooligan tribe started to wake up and started to do their every day tasks. It was about 07:00am when a young lady Astrid Hofferson woke

Astrid's pov

As the bright sun glared through my window I started to moan as I got up and got dressed. I put on my everyday armer (teens are about 15 at the moment) that hiccup made for me. I finished getting dressed and put my hair in a braid I heard my mum call
"Astrid breakfast is ready"

"I'm coming" I yelled back as I quickly put my boots on and ran down the stairs into the kitchen.

"I made you your favourite" mum says as she saw you walk through the door

"bacon and eggs!" I said hopefully

"okay your second favourite pancakes with syrup on top" mum said quickly changing her mistake

"thanks mum it looks really good"I said trying to make mum feel better for thinking that pancakes were my favourite breakfast

"your welcome sweetheart"

"mum were is dad I didn't see him in the lounged room"

"oh well he must have gone early on his fishing trip with the other men a bit earlier ....but enough talk about your dad you need to finish of your breakfast so you can go to Dragon training"

"okay okay fine"you laugh as your mum tries to get you out of the house

"by love you mum " I said while grabbing a basket of chicken and  running out the door whistling as I go for stormfly to come.

"Hey girl had a nice sleep"i and getting a node in reply

"Eat up quickly then if you want we can  go for a quick ride before we go to the academy " I asked as stormfly starts jumping around with her eyes lit up

"i'll take that as a yes" I said laughing

In the sky

"Come on girl lets see how fast you can go now that I've started feeding you chicken come on girl you can do it" I said as I started to push stormfly harder to fly faster

" Nice work stormfly hiccup and toothless won't know what happened when they start seeing a lot more of your tail" I said jumping off of stormfly as she lands in front of the academy

" oh good your here Astrid "

hiccup said as I walked into the academy. I realised that I started blushing as I felt my blood burning up

"come on Astrid stop blushing" I whispered to myself like I always have to when hiccup talks directly to me.

"okay class so today we will be learning about survival skills without our dragons today" hiccup said to the class

"how are we supposed to do that without our dragons" the twins stupidly ask

"easy I only keep this flame pit to take me places I do everything about survival by my self but if you want me to help you Astrid" snotlout says making kissy faces and noises at me EWW

" oh no I think I'm going to puke " I said pretending to puck and gage

"oh come on how could you not like this what about m-"

"-that enough snotlout" hiccup said interrupting Snotlout

"So as I said we need to learn to survive without our dragons in case we get separated from them.... so who wants to go first" hiccup asked

"me " I said as I grab my axe and walked around the arena to see if any of them had started shooting catapults at me or if their Dragon started shooting.

4 hrs layer
"alright guys that was good although fish you might want to practice some more"

"Fine but I don't get why I think I did great" fishlegs grumbled, idiot can't he see he us even worse then the twins

hiccup said "everyone go get lunch and have the rest of the day of to practice the survival skills... .......Astrid do you mind staying behind for a bit"

"um sure" I said a bit confused
Everyone else walked out and it was just me,hiccup and our dragons

"so uh ....I ..I just just wanted to know ifyouwantedtogoonadatewithme" hiccup said rushing unable for me to understand

"what sorry I didn't catch that"

"i wanted to know if you wanted to go on a date with me tonight..........only if you want to you do-"

"-yes I'd love to"

"oh okay I was just asking anyway so wait what did you say yes" hiccup asked dumbfounded

"i said yes" I said again while blushing deeply looking at the ground "

oh okay great i'll pick you up at 5 at your place Kay?"

"yeah sure see you then" I said still looking at the ground blushing as hiccup started to walk outside when I heard him

"YYYYYEEEEESSSSS" he yelled out loud and I started laughing so hard I got tears.

" Come on girl"

So that was my first chapter
