Cottagecore is probably my favorite aesthetic. To be able to dance with the flowers, sway with the leaves, to be one with nature... The thought alone brings me into a garden of peace; a paradise of tranquility.
“Ah, what a far fetched dream,” I say as I sink back into the rotten crevices of my mind.
The surrounding walls are decorated with crawling moss while the place is forever submerged in murky waters. It's beautiful how algae have found shelter in them. They’ll probably multiply when it rains again.
Following a trail of floating glass shards, my gaze shifts to the shattered window. The dark clouds are in view once more.
