Years have passed, and Shadow Plane has become a full grown stallion. He was seen sleeping in his bed. An alarm clock next to his bed then went off. Shadow hits the alarm clock to shut it off. He then yawns and stretches his front hooves. Shadow Plane then gets out of the bed and walks over to his window. He opens it to see a view of the sea. A red bird flew up to him and chirps in greeting.
Shadow Plane: Good morning, bird
The bird chirps and flies away. Shadow Plane walks over to a photograph of himself as a colt and his grandmother.
Shadow Plane: Good morning, grandma
Shadow Plane tears up a bit. His grandmother had passed away due to old age and he missed her everyday. He went to the bathroom and brushed his teeth. He then went to the kitchen and had some breakfast. Once he was done, Shadow went back to his room and got out a small pack. He then takes the photograph of his grandmother and himself and puts it in his bag. He then heads to the front door and opens it. Shadow Plane then steps out and breathes the fresh air
Shadow Plane: Another day in Maretime Bay.
He then walks down the path and into town. While he was walking, Shadow Plane greeted his fellow earth ponies. Shadow Plane also saw a flyer that shows the Canterlogic Annual Show. Although he firmly believed that unicorns and pegasi are not the enemies, the young stallion decides to check it out anyway. He then begins to walk around while looking at the different buildings. Shadow Plane has walked around the town so many times that he felt a little bored.
Shadow Plane: (thinking) I wish something new would happen in this town.
Just as he was walking, he sees something shocking in front of him.

There are some transparent ponies talking to each other, walking around, and looking at some of the earth ponies as they go about their business. They all glowed light blue as they are spirits. Not only that, they are all earth ponies, unicorns, and pegasi. Shadow Plane couldn't believe what he was seeing as he walk through the streets. Walking passed him was an aquamarine unicorn with pale light grayish cyan mane and tail and an earth pony with light apple greenish gray coat and cobalt blue with light fuschia stripe colored mane and tail.
