Taehyung spent her day thinking how to get away from the physical exam without getting caught but still passes it. She doesn't know what to do. Taking it is like walking in a thin line of string with boiling water beneath it

One wrong step and she will get burn by the hot water

She lays her head on her study table whining. Her arms folded like a pillow and leans her chin on it. She feels unproductive. It's already afternoon when she decided to take a walk and socialize when she notice a man standing few meters from their house

Seojoon has been standing there, greeting few men he knows passes by, he's been waiting for her to come out to have a talk but couldn't knock on her door

He doesn't know why he's waiting for her when he can call to be with her. She glances at her door seeing it's still close but flinches feeling a hand tapped on his shoulder

Taehyung jumps on his side surprising him
"What are you doing here hyungie"
She flashes her beautiful smile but something is still off and he can smell it from her. She's anxious though she wants to hide it. She doesn't want to worry uncle or anyone but she can't fool them. She can't fool herself

Seojoon holds the side of her face making her look at him
"How long you plan to hide your worries?"

Taehyung pulls back from him so he will take his hand off for her, eyes casted on the ground. She wants to deny what he is saying but thhe alpha wouldn't believe her

"I can smell your worries but even you're scared, you still smell sweet" he leans his face to her and whisper
"It's addicting"

Taehyung widens her eyes and take a step back

"Hyung"
She blushes feeling shy, turning to her side so she can hide her face from him

"If you're scared. You don't have to take that exam"
He tries to convince

"But... How can I be a Eunuch if I wouldn't take it?"

"You won't be, you don't need to!"

"But hyung..."
Her eyes got teary, it is her only hope to earn a lot of money, for her uncle and for her to pay the debt from him

"You know, if you really want to pay me back, there's this one way"
The alpha raises his eyebrows playfully seeing her getting teary, he wants to make her smile, at least...

Taehyung sees hope from his words thinking there's another way for her to pay him. Seojoon leans his face on her and winks

"You can marry me if you want" he wiggles his eyebrows. She pull back with wide eyes with her mouth form an O. She look down

"What... What are you saying? Why would I... Wait...A marriage? To marry you?"
She's beyond surprised. Why would a man like her suggest such way just to make her not worried for paying him back anymore

"Yah! Why would I marry you? I'm a  b..beta. You're an alpha, it's... It's not a match, y.. you know?" She stutters. Seojoon laughs pulling back from her. Taehyung looks cute as her smell changes again

"Stop being cute, for goodness sake.. i.. it made me want to kiss you" he laughs again then pulls her close to him, hands on her waist

"When you're going to admit that you're not a beta like you are claiming" he whispers to her side and once again she is surprised

"I'm a beta" she whispers back insisting it to him but there's no way Seojoon would believe her

"Yeah right" he pulled back and started walking. Taehyung follows him, walking with her eyes staring on the ground thinking of his words just following him but then she stops and bumps on his back when she suddenly stops walking
