"Xavier? Are you there?" My stepmother called out my name and opened the door.

"Yeah what's up?" I didn't bother to look up cause I was busy with my video game.

"Just wanted to tell you we are moving " she said with her hands in the air. Are you kidding me

"Wow that's nice. When do we leave? "

"Today "

"What?"

"What's wrong? Is it all of a sudden? " She asked

"No its fine. I will start packing after this" she closed the door and left. Well it's now or never

I ended my game and started packing. By the time I was done, I was about to start my game but then a pinkish envelope revealed itself to me

"what do we have here?" I said opening the letter and it read:
  
      To Xavier:
                       Hi, I can't believe I'm writing this, but I thought I should say this, well in that case, write this. We are in the same English class. I sit right behind you. I'm sure you dont know me which is good, cause this is very embarrassing. The first time you walked into the class, I felt a spark, and I'm sure you think of this letter as stupid but what do you expect from a thirteen year old kid. The point of this letter is to say I like you and I hope you notice me tomorrow.

A letter from Avery Filleigh, wow, how am I just seeing this today. I was right when I said I knew her but why did she deny it since she had a crush on me?

Of course she denied it, after not replying her four year old letter you idiot

Yeah that makes sense. I have to see her today.

"If you keep stalking me like this, I'm gonna call the cops on you" remembering that made me laugh

"Dude, this is like a four year old letter or five years old " jace said

"Why would you want to meet her for the content of this letter after these years " he finished, waving the letter in my face .

"First, it has been four years, you fool and why won't I want to meet her?" I countered.

After finding the letter,I called Jace and told him about the letter. We decided to meet at this restaurant, 'eat all you want' around the corner.

"What is bothering me is why she denied me when I approached her today "

I ignored the voice, awaiting Jace's answer.

"You didn't reply her letter, do you still expect her to like you? She probably thinks of you as a snub ".

Ughhh not what I wanted to hear

"Normally, I'm the dumb one here, but right now you're just as dumb "Jace said while stuffing his face with chicken wings.

"Okay put yourself in her shoes, something similar happens to you, what would you do? " He inquiried

"I'd approach the girl and ask why she didn't reply my letter"

"Of course you'd have an answer " Jace rolled his eyes, while I laughed at his comment.

"Okay how about you invite her to your party this Friday and maybe she can bring her friend along " he shifted in his chair, mumbling the last part.
