Soon the bell rang, It was time for lunch. yippee. I quickly got up and made my way out of the deserted classroom. I made sure I got out fast because I knew Jenny would follow me out, since we hadn't got to finish our conversation earlier. Honestly though, I wasn't in the mood to talk about it.

As usual, the corridor was jam packed. I quickly dodged the stampede ahead of me to get to my locker. Getting to your locker was literally like an accomplishment. I opened my lock, switched my books and slammed my locker shut. I jumped as I turned around, to see Alex leaning against the locker opposite to me.

I glared at him. "What do you need Alex?", I asked not really giving a shit. "Oh nothing. I was just wondering..". He stopped. I knew exactly where this was going. "No. Alex, i'm not getting back with you, so don't you get any ideas. Understood?". I didn't wait for an answer. I started pacing myself towards the canteen, when he gripped my shoulder and started twisting it. "Ow, s-stop Alex you're hurting m-e", I yelped in pain. "Showing attitude are we?", he smirked. "No that's not what I meant, please...", I looked up with pleading eyes. The asshole he was, he dragged me to the janitors closet, pinning my arms to the wall. My breathing was getting course.

"Alex, if you try anything on me i'll scream...". My face was serious. He just blinked and looked at me as if he were about to burst out laughing. "Brooklyn, you make me laugh. That's what I love about you." As he said that, he leaned closer to my face and started kissing me. I tried to stop him by moving my head sideways, but Alex was strong when he wanted to be.

Unexpectedly he took a step away from me, still grinning suspiciously. "Just you wait and see. You'll want me back". And with that he turned around and walked back to the classroom. Somehow I was relieved but yet scared. Scared of what was going to happen next. I took a step out o the janitors closet, brushing the dust off my clothes. I didn't know it was this filthy.

While still I had my back turned I heard a familiar voice behind me. "Hahaha, I know right". There was only one girl with that voice. "Jenny?!", I blurted, spinning around. But Jenny wasn't alone. There was some girl with her. All of the sudden she looked guilty for some reason. "Heyyy.. hows it going?". Confused and upset, I grabbed her hand and took her to the girls bathroom which was close to us.

              "Who the fuck is she?".

"No one, just a close friend...", she spoke, arms folded like I was wasting her time.

               I raised an eyebrow. "Close?"

"For Gods sake. Shes just a friend OK? no need for jealousy now. I mean just because i'm                               hanging out with her doesn't mean you can't." Jenny twiddled with her hands.

"Ha. Woow... Is this the dork you were talking about?", said a voice behind me.

Slightly jumping, I again turned to see the same girl i'd seen outside. A tall, pretty girl with                          bright green eyes and long blonde hair. I couldn't get my eyes off her, as much as I didn't                            particularly like this girl. She smiled angelically at me, then turned to Jenny.

Jenny smirked but didn't say anything to protect me. This was unbelievable.

"Oh God Brook. Sophie's just kidding, don't mind haha"

"I hope you're not sensitive. I make a lot of jokes", Sophie spoke, sounding bored

"Uh.. no i'm not really..", I whispered.

I could tell this girl was evil just by looking at her face.

"Yeah..." She turned her head to Jenny. "So hey, i'm growing old here, and lunch is almost over so I say lets check out that guy just before we get to class."

"Sure". Jenny shrugged. I stood silently as the two of them walked out of the bathroom without me. None of them looked back, but it didn't matter. All I was interested in was what they were going to do now.

Jenny was now literally being dragged out of the bathroom by some blonde. What was going                   on? I had no idea. Everything was still a blur to me.

              "Wait where-"

Before I could finish, they were gone. Just like that. And just like that I realized if I didn't do                        something my best friend was going to vanish. Just like the rest did.
