Good News

ROBIN'S POV

I was currently at home, watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It's my favorite horror movie! I was watching it with my uncle and we also had popcorn and icees on the table. I then heard the phone ring but I didn't want to get up so I looked at my uncle with a pleading look and he got up. Once he went over there, he answered the phone and talked a bit.

R/u: Robin, it's for you! It's Y/N!

Robin: -Immediately, I looked up and got up from the couch, running towards the phone, falling in the process- Ay, Hijo e puta -I winced and got back up, running towards the phone again. Once I got there, I took the phone from my uncle as he chuckled-  Hello?

Y/N: Oh..um, hi Robin!

Robin: Hi, why are you calling, hermosa?

Y/N: W-Well..I um...I have some really good news

Robin: What are they?

Y/N: Well...they're a pretty big deal so I was wondering if maybe you could come over or I could come over to tell you?

Robin: I'll come over...is your dad there? Y'know, just in case

Y/N: No, he's not, so just...come over

Robin: Okay, well, I'll see you there, yeah?

Y/N: Yeah

I hung up and told my uncle everything. He let me and I walked to my room. I quickly changed from my basketball shorts and white wife beater tank top. I instead put on some gray sweatpants and a short sleeve black shirt with a black hoodie on top. I then got an extra blue  hoodie that I had in my closet that I wanted to give to Y/N since I had seen her eyeing it multiple times whenever she came over to my house. Once I put on my shoes, I got my icee from the table, said goodbye to my uncle, and got out of the house. I walked over to Y/N's house and when I got there, I knocked on the door and her mom opened it.

Y/M: Robin! Oh my gosh! It's so nice to see you here! -She grabbed me and hugged me tightly-

Robin: Hi Mrs. Y/L (your last name), how are you?

Y/M: I'm good! How are you?

Robin: I'm good, I came here because-

Y/M: Y/N wants to tell you the good news -She gave me a soft and excited smile- Come in! Come in!

Robin: -I came in and was immediately greeted by the warm smell of cookies and I was able to see a smoothie in the blender- Your house smells really good -I smiled and Mrs. Y/L smiled at me-

Y/M: Thank you Robin! Y/N's waiting for you in her room -She smiled-

Robin: Thanks Mrs. Y/L -I walked to Y/N's room only to find her pacing around in her room- Hey, hey, hermosa, you okay? -I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her waist, bringing her close to me-

Y/N: Yeah, I'm fine, I'm just...nervous? Or maybe excited? I don't know, I just got this quick rush

Robin: -I smiled and chuckled- Well, are you gonna tell me the good news?

Y/N: So...um...Bruce, my mom, and me finally stood up to my dad and she kicked him out of the house -She smiled widely- They're also getting a divorce

Robin: -I smiled widely- Hermosa, I'm so happy for you -I swung her around as she giggled happily- When did this happen?

Y/N: Yesterday, but I couldn't wait for Monday to tell you -I chuckled softly-

Robin: -I kissed her forehead and we smiled at each other- Well, I'm glad you decided to tell me -Mrs. Y/L then came in with a plate full of cookies and two smoothies, all in a tray-

Y/M: Hey guys! So, I made some cookies and smoothies and assumed you would want some -She smiled warmly-

Y/N: Yeah, thanks mom -She kissed her cheek and walked over to her bed-

Robin: Thank you Mrs. Y/L-

Y/M: Well, you won't be  calling me that much longer, assuming Y/N already told you -She giggled-

Robin: Yeah, she already told me -I chuckled and smiled at her-

Y/M: -She smiled back at me- Well, that's it, I'm going to be in my room if you guys need me -She gave us another smile and then left, closing the door-

I took a cookie and bit into it and then took one of the smoothies. Me and Y/N started talking, laughing, doing all sorts of things while eating and drinking.
