I find it impressive how George Muller relied on God for everything. Today, I read an report where he received 20 pounds on a day when he needed it, along with a message saying that it wasn't a large amount but was sufficient for the day's needs, and the Lord provides for the day.
Interestingly, in the same prayer, "Just for today," George mentioned he was meditating on the verse: "Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever." I also recalled this as I read the book of Mark.
So, today, my prayer will be as follows: I will present everything that happened to me today in prayer to God and ask Him for financial provision to cover a rent payment that is four months overdue. I think it will be $1600. It's urgent because it's a pressing need for today."
