tricks, the benefits, and the fun that skateboards are COMPLETE LIES. Matt would tell you how much those videos are spitting lies at you, but you wouldn't believe him. It's that matt hated skateboards, he hated the idea, he hated the pain, he hated everything that a skateboard had to offer. Was Matt's preference always like this? No, but it will always be now ever since the accident...

Matt was so exited! Chris and Nick had got him skateboard as an late Christmas present. Still he was exited to try it! Matt had never tried to learn how to use a skateboard. It just seemed to hard in his eyes, and seeing those videos about it made his anxiety spike. Matt had to push all those thoughts away, cause now he was going to learn! Matt took his skateboard out one sunset evening, he deemed it to be perfect, the sky, his mood everything seemed perfect. Matt took a breath of air and placed the skateboard down. He hold the board in place with one of his feet and placed the other in the center. He lifted his other foot to the middle. He did it he was balancing! He stuck both his arms out to maintain balance, and took on of his feet off and pushed it off the ground. The board moved forward a little bit before stopping. Matt was so happy! He kept moving little by little to get used to the board, and then decided that he would try one big move. Matt pushed the board back up to the top, and started to do one big push! The board went forward, but as the board went so did Matt. The board hit a curb in the street, and Matt went flying forward into the ground. Matt pushed his hand out to stop himself from hitting face first. He landed right on his wrist, and heard a crack. Matt gasped

"FUCK. THAT HURT"
A string of curses left Matt's mouth. He used his other wrist to get up and grab his board. He chucked it into the garage and went inside the house, cradling his wrist. He shut the door, and walked upstairs to his room. He hoped that he wouldn't find Chris or Nick on the way, since he didn't want to explain what happened. But luck was not on his side, as he was about to reach his room, Nick came up from behind him, and rested his hand on his non-good arm.

"Matt can you bring me to target? And i guess that Chris can come along to if he wants, or whatever." Matt gasped as Nick lifted his hand off his arm. He guessed that Nick her his quiet mutter cause he spun back around to look at Matt, who had his back turned to him.
"Matt what's wrong?" Nicks voice carried concern and well being for his brother. Matt slowly turned around to face Nick. Matt could hear his gasp and slowly lift his hand into his own.

"What happened sweetheart? How did your wrist get like this?" Matt felt embarrassed to tell Nick what happened, but he knew that it was better to get it out now. So he told Nick how he fell off his skateboard, and tried to catch himself by putting his hands out. Nick just stared at him and listened. Nick just sighed and pulled Matt into a hug, careful not to squish Matt's wrist. Nick felt him hug back.

Nick told Chris what happened and they drive Matt to the hospital. (Nick did not Chris) Turns out that when Matt feel he ended up breaking 2 bones in his wrist and forearm, and fracturing some bones in his wrist. Matt would have to wear a splint on his forearm, and sprainer on his wrist for 2 months. Nick and Chris helped him when he couldn't do something due to being 1 handed. As he healed Nick and Chris tried to get him back into skating but Matt would just shake his head. After Matt fully healed, Chris and Nick made a note that if they ever bought Matt anything remotely close to a skateboard to watch him when he tried it. I mean after all they were the sturniolo triplets they will always stick together...

(This was my idea, I watched an old Sam and Colby video and Sam hurt his wrist while skateboarding so I made my own version on it!)
