Chapter Two

Gyeong woke up to her 6:00 am alarm. Today was her second day of school and she was unhappy about it. She didn't get an inch of sleep last night and was tired.

When she got home yesterday Yoongi was nowhere to be found. She was a bit worried but knew Yoongi would be okay. Gyeong decided today she was going to be the big person and apologize, she thought it through and realized she may have overreacted a bit.

So with that, she got up from her bed to wash up.

Jungkook wakes up to his alarm and grumbles in annoyance. He did not want to be in the same car as his sister and yoongi. Yesterday was so tense with the car situation and his sister crying. It was just too much to handle in one day.

He decides to go downstairs to start breakfast for his sister and himself.

"Gyu- oh hi yoongi...you slept over?" he asks. How did he not notice? "Oh yeah, I did...came around 2 am. My mom was at it again so I came over. I made waffles." He says monotone.

Jungkook smiles at that and starts to eat.

"Jungkook!! Have you seen my cherry lipgloss?! I let you borrow it last time." She screams from the stairs. Yoongi gives jungkook a smirk. "Cherry hmm.."

Jungkook rolls his eyes in embarrassment, "It tastes good and makes my lips look so cute...CHECK MY GAME ROOM!" he replies.

They both hear her coming down the stairs and look at each other. "Ok what did you make kook." she pauses while saying that and sees yoongi. She stands there and contemplates what should come out of her mouth.

"Yoongi...about yesterday-" "I'm sorry." he cuts her off.

She looks at him in disbelief. "Huh"

"Look you were right. I'm unsure why I didn't go to your side when you seemed uncomfortable and lonely. I'm a bad friend...no a bad best friend. I'm sorry. And for calling you a baby. I'm not sure why that came out and I felt really bad after. I know you're having trouble with adjusting to the new school and I'm making it worse. Gyu I'm sorry." Yoongi says in basically one breath.

Gyeong smiles at him. "Thank you for understanding yoongs." "Ok, time to hug it out," Jungkook says. Yoongi goes over to the twins and hugs them.

They both get dropped off at school and Yoongi walks with them inside school. "Ok I was late yesterday taking you two newbies to class so I got to go," he says waving bye at them.

The twins watch him get lost in the crowded halls. They look at each other and wave goodbye silently.

Gyu walks by herself toward her P.E. class.

"Hey Gyu...eng?" she looks behind her and sees one of her dance classmates. "Gyeong...Jimin right?" she replies to him with a smile. "Yes Jimin and omg I'm so sorry for getting your name wrong. It's very unique," he says walking next to her.

"Oh yeah, it is. People never seem to know how to pronounce it." "Interesting. It seems like we have P.E. in the same period." He states as they walk towards the same building.

"Oh yeah, what class are you?" she asks looking at him. He has blonde hair and the prettiest lips. "Oh, I'm in the 9th grade class. You?" "8th" she replies.

"Well, it was nice meeting you...see you in dance class." he waves goodbye before walking to his class line. Gyu waves back and smiles.

Jungkook was struggling to find his first-period class. Yesterday he was behind yoongi and not really looking at his surroundings.

I should have paid more attention.

"Hey, you lost freshie?" someone asks behind him. He turns around quite startled, "Do you know where I can find this class?" he asks shyly. "Oh yeah...go down this hallway and go up two flights of stairs and it should be on your right."

The guy smiled at Jungkook and Jungkook just stared with his big brown doe eyes. "Thank you." "No problem."

Jungkook walked away and tried to cover his face.

He was so good-looking.

Jungkook found his classroom but before he could enter he heard a girl talking. He looked around the corner and saw a girl talking to yoongi. Oh. Yoongi hardly talked to girls or seemed interested in them.

"Yoongi, Why didn't you call me?!" "Cause my phone died." "Yeah, sure. Also who was that girl you were with." She asks a pushes him a bit.

"Don't touch her." "Ohhhh why not." "I swear if you lay a finger on-"

RIIIINGGGG

The final bell rang and the two left to class. Jungkook ran inside his class before yoongi could spot him. What was he hiding from his sister?

Why is Yoongi being weird?

Gyeong goes into the cafeteria and sees the table she sat on yesterday was taken. Most of them were. She awkwardly stood there looking around. Then she spotted Yoongi. He was eyeing her but once they made eye contact he looked away.

Great. It seems like they weren't on good terms. Gyeong looks around more and sees her classmate Jimin. She takes a deep breath and starts heading his way.

Once she was in close proximity he smiled at her. "Hello Gyeong! Please sit," he says making space for her. "I'm sorry to intrude, my table was taken." She explains. "it's okay. You can always sit with me and my friend if you'd like."

Gyeong looks over the table and sees Jimin's friend. "Hi, I'm Taehyung. You look very familiar," he says squinting his eyes. "Um my twin, Jungkook, looks like me. If that is what you're referring to," she explains.

"Ohhhhh yes, Jungkook, I have a class with him. He's cool...where is he?" he says looking around the cafeteria. "Um...I'm not sure," she says looking around as well.

Gyu pulls out her phone to check her messages.

"Oh sorry guys I have to go." she says getting up.

She walks out and follows the location where she was sent. It was in school but in a part she was not familiar with.

Once she saw her brother she ran up to him.

"Kook, what's wrong? You ok?" she asks concerned. "Yeah." He says looking around. "So what happened with yoongi...I saw him in the cafeteria."

"I saw him talking to a girl." Jungkook slightly cuts her off. Gyu looks at jungkook. They stare at each other for a while before Gyeong speaks up.

"is that it? Kook he's allowed to...I don't understand?" she says already feeling irritated. "No, you don't understand like...UGH, I don't know how to explain it but basically-"

"Hey Kook, Gyu...what are you guys doing out here."

They both look towards the voice. Yoongi.

"Oh, nothing," Gyu responds looking at her brother, whose face is telling her to be quiet. "N-nothing...how did you know we were here yoongi?" Jungkook asks feeling uneasy.

"Followed you guys. When I saw Gyu walk away without eating, I knew something was going on." Yoongi explains and the twins just nod in response.

The air felt so thick and uncomfortable due to the tension between the three of them, it was unusual for this to happen.

"Well come one guys. You guys should eat before the bell rings. I know Gyu packed good food." Yoongi says making a hand motion, making the twins walk towards him and walk towards the cafeteria.

Gyu looked at her brother, What was he hiding.
