A rude awakening

Monika pov
We all looked around and we all heard a meowing noise. We turned and seen a snowy white fur kitten. Natsuki let out a squeal and I quickly covered her mouth and put my finger up to my lips and I thumbed over to the bed. We all heard a groan of pain and the kitten started rubbing itself against Natsuki. I whispered "try to stay quiet please?" She nodded and she crouched down and started petting the kitten.

Yuri pov
I heard the groans of pain which was coming from the bed. I walked over and seen a young boy with H/c hair with F/c eyes but one was a black eye. Who could've done this to him? I gently pulled off the covers and seen his torso covered in wounds and scars. Was he abused or something. No one deserves to experience pain like this. I gently covered him back up and Sayori seen the wounds also. She shared a face of concern. I walked over to Monika and whispered "where did the wounds on Y/n's body come from?" She sighed and said "Someone named B/n assaults him on a daily basis.

When he wakes up I think you should tend to his wounds since you're the only one here with medical expertise." I nodded and looked around the house to locate a first aid kit. I found one in the kitchen and I noticed a tea set similar to mine. I decided to see if there was any tea to make since there was a tea set. I found a cabinet full of different kinds of tea and some I don't recognize. I decided to make some green tea for later.

Sayori pov
I followed Yuri and looked for some snacks. I found a walk in closet full of snacks. I grabbed some cookies and an apple juice box. I walked over and sat across from Yuri which she was deep in thought. I said "are you ok Yuri?" She snapped out of her trance and said "huh...yeah I am just thinking of the severity of Y/n's injuries and how I am gonna take care of them. Some of them are brand new while others are old. Plus I don't know how he'll react to see us in his house when we're supposed to be in the laptop. There's too many variables in this situation." I nodded and Natsuki came in with the cat and said "found out her name. It's snowball from what her collar says." We nodded and Monika came in and said "it seems like he is the only one living here currently. He's obviously gonna freak out knowing four girls from a video came suddenly came into his reality."

Y/n pov
I smelt something burning. I quickly got up because I feared that I forgot to turn off the stove. I threw on my bathrobe and ran and tripped down the stairs and I felt something break in my hand. I let out a scream of pain. I heard footsteps approaching and suddenly I was helped up and I swear I heard Yuri ask If I was ok. I said "move the house is on fire." I quickly ran to the kitchen and seen "Monika, Sayori, Natsuki" I froze dead in my tracks and I suddenly grabbed a knife and said "Who are you people and how did you g-get into m-my h-h-house?" Suddenly I was disarmed by Yuri and I was shaking. This has to be a nightmare or Dream come true. I don't know by this point.

No one spoke up and I said "this is most definitely a dream. I'm just gonna let the house burn and wake up in my bed and everything will be back to normal." I felt someone grabbed my shoulder and turned me to them and suddenly I was embraced. I heard Yuri say "This isn't a dream Y/n. Monika knows a bit of "magic" and got us here since you needed help." She gently pulled my head into her shoulder and rubbed my back in circles which was soothing to me for some odd reason. After a few moments I calmed down and Yuri stopped hugging me and I turned to Monika and said "so that wasn't an update was it. You somehow beat the laws of nature and was actually talking to me? She nodded and said "sorry for barging in here. We'll take our leave."

She got up and I took off my slipper and threw it at her which hit. She turned around surprised and I said "oh no no you're not going anywhere Monika or any of you. You just merely frightened me and we have plenty of spare rooms upstairs. I'm not one to just give people the boot and this world is 100x more dangerous than the world you came from. I'm a perfect example of it see." I lifted my shirt and showed everyone. I put my shirt back down and said "you girls are safe here and my parents won't mind the extra residents since they're never here and my younger sister is on vacation with her friends which left Snowball in my care." It's a thing called Self growth. But for now I hope you 4 can be on your best behavior.

Since you're now under my care...I'll see you four tomorrow." I went to leave but Yuri stopped me and said "umm...before you go back to bed where will we be sleeping?" I said "whichever room fits your desires." She nodded and before I can walk she then asked "if you are ok with it can I tend to your wounds please. I said sure and then walked to the couch in the living room and she brought in a first aid kit and she asked me to remove my shirt which I did. She winced at the wounds and she started to apply an ointment which should help numb the pain.  I kept quiet and deep in thought at trying to wrap my head around everything I just found out. I was too deep into thought that I didn't realize Yuri was trying to get my attention. I suddenly snapped out of it when she called my name. I shook my head and I said "Yeah what did you need Yuri?"

She asked "Are you honestly ok Y/n?" I nodded and said "yeah just trying to wrap my head around everything still." I stood up and patted her head and said "thanks for patching me up Yuri." I then made my way back up the stairs and opened my bedroom door and I walked over to my bed and laid on it. I was about to sleep until I heard Monika knock on my door. I said "come in."

Monika pov
I walked into Y/N's bedroom and seen him staring at the ceiling. I walked over to him and he said "Whatcha need Monika?" I said "Do you think I can sleep on your bed with you tonight?" His face went red and he said "S-Sure Monika." He scooted over a bit and he lifted the covers and I started to undress. He turned away and asked "why are you stripping Monika?" I said "I usually sleep better in my bra and underwear. Why is it to much of a bother?" He kept staring the other way and said "n-n-no if it means you can sleep better then I guess it's ok." I nodded and finished taking off my uniform and I got under the covers with him. He seemed to be nervous so I pulled him into an embrace and softly said
"Y/n are you nervous around us?"

He said "Well...yes I just found out 4 video game characters from a game suddenly came to life and now is staying in the same house as myself. Sooo yeah a bit nervous but it should go away sooner or later." I nodded and put my forehead against his back and he said "This world is dangerous Monika. So promise me to keep you, Sayori, Natsuki, and Yuri by my side at all times." I replied and said "I promise. Y/n it's nice to be finally meeting you in person. So is Yuri, Sayori, and Natsuki are glad also. We all decided to share you as a boyfriend."

He turned his head towards me and said "W-what now?" I repeated what I said and his eyes began to water. "Did I accidentally make him cry?!?" He turned over and hugged me tightly. He started to cry softly and kept thanking me. He really is a softy. We need to protect that smile of his. I gently rubbed his back and he soon stopped crying and startled to let out extremely soft breaths. He must've worn himself out. I seen the others at the door and I gestured them to come join. Sayori did and Yuri and Natsuki said they'll be in the next room over. I nodded and Sayori embraced Y/n from behind and quickly fell asleep which only left me.

I heard a buzzing noise and I turned over and seen a smartphone light up. I picked it up and it was message from someone name sister saying the vacation trip will be longer than expected. I put it on silent and turned back towards Y/n and decided to sleep for the rest of the night.
