"May I know who you guys are?"

Before Lia could reply, Kaizo beated her to it. It seems like they both were acting hostile to each other but to different reasons.

Kaizo: "We just traveling around here. And what an honor for us to have the mayor here?"

Lia paled to Kaizo's replies. She knew things will go awry from this point. She tried to interfered the conversation but was stopped by Kaizo who glanced at her. By the glance, she knew that Kaizo ordered her to stay silent which she complied.

The small action was noticed by Andy but he ignored it. He said.

Andy: "I heard from the town people that there's travelers that look too young to travel alone together."

Lia face paled upon hearing the statement. It seems like there're a few rumors circulated around the town about them. Meanwhile Kaizo stated that they're on holidays for the semester and already an adult to travel around.

Andu: "Really? Just the two of you together?"

Andy asked them and smirked. Kaizo felt annoyed by the question. He almost snapped but suddenly Lia stood up and cutted him by saying this.

Lia: "Sir... Don't tell me there's rumors about us..."

Andy: "Yes. I would say it quite unfortunate for you guys."

Lia slumped back onto the chair. She putted her face into the palm of her hands. Her sigh was clearly heard by the two men near her.

Kaizo: "What is it Qis? Is the rumors that bad?"

Lia: "Kai... You're not from here so you don't how bad can rumors be here... Especially when it involved a man and a woman. Just like when the aunty asked about us this morning."

Kaizo stunned and remembered the question the aunty asked them this morning. He sighed as he saw stressed over the rumors.

Meanwhile Andy was watching on how the two reacted to the rumors. Before he can said anything, he was cut off by the waiter who came to place the food in the table.

Andy: "It seems like I have disturbed your time. Please, enjoy your time here."

While he's talking, Andy leaned over the table and secretly setted up a wiretap under the table. His action somehow triggered Kaizo. After Andy left, Kaizo felt uneasy staying there.

Kaizo called the waiter and asked him to pack up their foods. The waiter then took the foods and went back into the kitchen to pack up the foods. The foods came back after a few minutes.

Kaizo paid the foods and immediately walked out from the restaurant. Lia followed him right behind. Lia jogged to Kaizo's side.

Lia: "Kaizo? What's wrong? Why are we in a hurry?"

Kaizo: "I felt uneasy staying there after meeting him. It's better for us to stay away from him. Just... Something is wrong with him."

Somewhere a few bloks away, where the restaurant was visible in sight. Andy was witnessing the scene when Kaizo and Lia hurriedly left the restaurant. He also has an earplug on.

He clicked his tongue as he failed to listen to their conversation. He then contacted someone through the earplug.

Andy: "Aman. The wiretap plan failed. We need to continue monitoring them through the drones."

The call ended. Apparently, Kaizo and Lia were monitored for this whole time. Their existence were exposed after they left the mansion and arrived at the crashed prison spaceship.
