♡ Chapter 1 ♡

Genya sat in chemistry class, doodling on his work, not paying attention. Who could blame him though? Mr Iguro's lessons were dreadful, he would rant on about some useless chemistry then set an unnecessary amount of homework. The class currently had to work in silence, finishing off a worksheet to do with the periodic table or something.

Genya felt a light nudge on his shoulder. It was Muichiro. "You should start your work, Mr Iguro is collecting them soon." He whispers.

Genya sighs. "I don't have a clue what this is even about, I've been drawing the whole class." He whispers with a slight smirk.

Muichiro grins slightly. "Show me."

Genya shows him, it's an ugly drawing of Mr Iguro with the label "dumbass"

Muichiro's eyes widen and he bites his tongue to try contain his laughter, although Genya can't help but snigger slightly. This caused Muichiro to panic and try to shush him, but it was too late. Mr Iguro stood next to Genya's desk with his icy cold glare staring into their souls.

"What is going on over here, boys?" He snapped before snatching the paper out of Genya's hands and staring furiously at the drawing. "Is this supposed to be me..?"

Genya froze. "I...uhm...no its-"

"Don't lie to me Shinazugawa!" Mr Iguro screamed. "Afterschool detention, for both of you!"

Muichiro sighed but Genya was fuming. "Muichiro didn't even do anyth-"

Mr Iguro slammed his fists on the desk. "I said both of you! I will be telling Mr Shinazugawa about this Genya, so don't think you won't also be punished at home." He ripped the drawing up and threw it into the bin before storming back to his desk.

Genya groaned and cursed to himself before putting his head down on the table. "Sorry Mui..." He murmered shamefully.

"It's alright, it was pretty funny." Muichiro said with a mischievous smile.

Genya smiled back. "Yeah, I guess it-"

"Do your damn work!" Mr Iguro yelled from the other side of the classroom. They finally shut up and finished off their worksheets. Eventually the bell for lunch rang. They grabbed their stuff and ran to the cafeteria for food

Genya and Muichiro got their meals, today it was beef bento boxes. They searched for their friends, it didn't take long to find them. Inosuke was standing on top of the table, laughing wildly while Tanjiro and Zenitsu tried to quieten him down, Kanao just sat casually, eating her food. Genya laughed to himself until he saw a teacher walking over, the teacher was unfortunately, Mr Shinazugawa, his big brother. Genya was going to try avoid the table for a minute but Muichiro didn't get the hint, he walked over to the table, forcing Genya to follow so he didn't seem like a loner.

"Get the hell down Hashibira!" Genya's brother growled.

Inosuke laughed mockingly. "Make me! What're you gonna do, give me detention? Ha!"

Sanemi grabbed Inosuke by the ear and forced him into his seat, Inosuke pouts grumpily.

As Muichiro and Genya take a seat, Sanemi raises an eyebrow. "Genya, I need a word with you.." He grumbles.

Genya sighs and gets out of his seat to speak with his brother, he had a feeling this would be to do with the drawing in chemistry..

He takes a deep breath. "Nemi, I'm sorry, I really didn't mean it! I just-"

"Woah, what the hell are you on about!? I just needed to tell you I'll be home late, I'm helping Mr Giyuu with uh, something." Sanemi interrupts with a raised eyebrow.

Genya sighs in relief. "Uh, yeah, of course. See ya then I guess." He walks back to his table and sits next to Muichiro.

Muichiro stares blankly at him  as if waiting on something. "Well..?"

Genya grins. "He doesn't know, Mr Iguro must've been kidding."

Muichiro smiles, his pretty eyes glinting mischievously.

"He's working late too, you can maybe come to my place after school! Just tell Yuichiro we're studying or something." Genya says, half begging. He loved hanging out with Mui, he always has. Since they were children they had been best friends and almost never left each others side.

Muichiro nods in agreement, a cute smile spread on his face.

Zenitsu and Inosuke were bickering almost the entire lunchtime so no one could get any conversation in, but no one could deny it was entertaining to watch.

The rest of the day went by pretty quickly, Genya was excited to hang out with Mui for the whole evening since when Sanemi hangs out with Mr Giyuu, he usually doesn't come home till late.

------------------4 HOURS LATER----------------

Genya heard a knock on his front door and raced to answer it, a wide smile on his face. Sure enough, it was Muichiro. He opened the door

"Hey." Genya said with a grin, "C'mon in, its freezing out there." He guides Muichiro into the house.

"Are you sure Sanemi won't be home till late?" Muichiro asks nervously, he was scared to get in even more trouble, he had only got out of detention half an hour ago and Yuichiro was annoyed he was going to Genya's house so he didn't want to be on bad terms with Sanemi now.

Genya smiled, Muichiro looked weirdly adorable when he was nervous. "Uh, yeah. We'll be ok. Let go play roblox, or minecraft if you want. You can choose."

Muichiro smiles, now reassured. "How about roblox?"

Genya nods and they dash up to his room together.

They sat on a beanbag chair together, Muichiro used his ipad and Genya used his laptop. They played for hours, eating snacks, scamming little kids and playing two player obby games until dark.

"Mui I can't find you, where are you at?" Genya asks, searching for Muichiro's character in the game. He gets no response. "Mui?"

He looks to his side and sees Muichiro, resting his head against Genya's shoulder, fast asleep. Genya smiles and grabs a blanket, throwing it over Mui to keep him warm. He feel a bit tired himself so rests his eyes a bit, matching his breathing pattern to Muichiro's so they breathed in sync and he soon also fell asleep.
