I was to young to be a soldier
To young to die
You were standing there fighting another soldier fire benders, some of of your team are injured some are dead
Soldiers are dying thats why the captain of your village kept choosing everyone without any training once your a fire bender you have to fight like your life depends on it because it does
Your in the middle of a fight you kept blasting fire with the enemy but to scared to hurt them your deeply injured
You hide with the other soldiers underneath some dirt
"What are we gonna do sir"
You were holding your side because of the pain
"No man surrenders till the very end"
I am no man, no soldier, I'm just a kid who wants to play, im only 10
Then the captain and the other shouts and stand up but once the captain stand up his head was blast by a cannon
Bloody..blood all over you you want to scream but at the same time no voice was heard
You had the urge to run this was the moment to run... There are no other captain are in here
You snap out of your thoughts and saw another cannon ball
You started to crawl out of here until you saw a water which you have to jump
"Hey you get back here you stupid soldier"
Oh no... Other one of the captains, you thought of it what if you die if you jump but thats more better than this torture you wait no second to jump
You hit a rock on your head but you fell in the water

Moments pass you felt so soft and warm you open your eyes just to see a big house and your on a big bed you never felt like this you have always sleep in a rock
Then the door open your about to stand up and get in position but your body hurts so much that you fell
"Oh my... Dear are you ok"
When a lady was about to hold you, then you hold her wrist and burn it she scream in pain
"What's happening in here?!"
A guy with long beard came in the room
The lady explain and you just sit there in the corner scared of what will happen next the lady was dismissed and the man was approaching you
"Do..don't come near m-me I'm not afraid to hurt you.. like her"
The man still approach you and sat down
"I know you scared dear but please trust me"
He lift his hands not so close to you
"My name is Lao Beifong. What is your name dear I'm sure you have a name"
You didn't answer
Then you saw a girl she was at the dorr and looking at the air she was pretty
"Toph dear i think you shouldn't be here"

"Who's that person"
"Nothing sweetie just go play with you toys"
With that the girl disappear Mr. Lao stand up and said
"I will get you a food"
Then he disappears too, you climb up in the bed and hug the bed before its to late
