The time is 3:00 am.

Leviathan and Mc are having an epic Just Dance battle in the demon's room, playing the very hardest levels in the game.

Why?
Because they made a bet around 1:00 that if Leviathan could beat the human at least twice in any hard just dance level, then she would buy him any anime merchandise he wanted.

Of course he wasn't going to pass up an opportunity like that, so he immediately agreed.

Although, up until now, the male had been losing miserably.

"LET'S GOO!"
Mc jumped around in excitement as she claimed yet another victory.
Levi groaned in response and dramatically threw his body onto a purple beanbag chair.

"This game is impossible!" He pouted.

The human rolled her eyes and loomed over the demon's body.
"Aww, is Levi mad cause he can't empty my wallet?" She teased, staring down at the grumpy male.

He sat up slightly and glared at her. "You don't understand! There's a brand new Ruri-Chan figurine that was just released yesterday, and it's EXTREMELY limited! They're probably already out of stock!!"
Levi ranted, desperately trying to explain why he NEEDED to win.

Mc shook her head.
"I'm sorry, but you agreed to the terms and conditions, so there's no backing out now."

The demon glared at her.
"I swear, if you go back on your promise, I won't hesitate to leak all your embarrassing moments online."

The girl decided to take his threat very seriously.
No one needed to know about those things.

"I won't cheat you okay? I promise." Mc reassured.

"You'd better not."

With that, the two got up and continued on with their rigorous battles.

They were at it for hours and Mc was getting tired. She didn't usually stay up much past 2:00 am, so it was getting real rough for her around 5:00 am.

Levi on the other had, was absolutely thriving. He would do all nighters almost every other night!

Mc kept losing more and more of her energy as time went on and eventually...

Levi finally won against her.

"YES!! I DID IT I DID IT!" The nerdy demon yelled in celebration.
"YOU OWE ME A 650 DOLLAR RURI-CHAN FIGURE!!"

The girl's eyes grew at the reveal of how much the stupid thing would cost, but she was so tired at that point, that she didn't seem to care too much.
Plus, the poor guy had been trying so hard to win all night and all morning. She didn't mind letting him finally have the victory for once.

"650 is actually crazy but okay." Mc chuckled, then sat on the carpeted floor. A yawn escaping her lips as she set her controller down beside her.

"What are you doing?!" Levi suddenly yelled at her, causing her to flinch.
"Are you not going to fulfill your end of the bargain?!?"

The human's brows furrowed at his tone.

"Hey keep your shirt on okay? I'll do it later today after I get some sleep."
She stood up, only to have the male call out behind her, begging her to order his stuff right then.

"But, I need you to do it now! I can't wait! You can't just leave me here like this!"

Mc was exhausted, and just about done with Levi's whiney and childish behavior.

But, Levi was Levi and couldn't always help his envious and greedy urges.
He is the avatar of envy after all.

Of course, he could definitely learn to have better manners but oh well..

Keeping her cool, Mc turned back around and begrudgingly agreed.
"Okay. I'll order it right now." She mumbled, her voice a little lower than normal.

The demon grinned and handed her his D.D.D, his mood immediately switching.
"Good! It's in my search history."

She stared at the phone screen and scrolled up and down the search bar.
There were thousands upon thousands of different anime references.

"God he's such a nerd."
The girl thought to herself.

Which was partly why she liked him. He was just such a dork and she honestly found that kinda cute.
Levi could be annoying for sure, but she liked him enough that, that fact didn't bother her too much.

Mc went through the process of buying the ridiculously expensive anime figure on Levi's D.D.D.
Paying for it completely with her own money, just as she promised.

"There, happy now?" The human tiredly teased a bit.

"Thank you very much Mc. You're the best! I don't know what I'd do without you!!"
Levi exclaimed, giving the girl a quick hug, then pulling away to check the confirmation notice that was sent to his D.D.D.

Mc nodded and hummed in response, already heading for the door so she could take a fat nap in her own room.

Once Mc was back in her own room and settled in, she got into bed and pulled the covers over her body.

Levi sure was an idiot.

90% of her bank account was drained now because of him.

And yet, her feelings for him never wavered.
Maybe she was the idiot-
