★CHAPTER-10★

Chan pov:-

Madelyn and I went and just bought two three snacks, nothing else. After purchasing we came to the bench only to see, no one has reached except us. As we were sitting quietly, I asked her.

"So, how was your day?"

"It was good, except Matt throwing Leo!" She said while rolling her eyes

I giggled quietly

"What about you?" She asked me

"Yeah, it was great for me too!" I said

"Mind giving your number? If you're comfortable of course!" I asked her

"No problem, it's xxx xxx xxxxxx!" She said

After a few minutes of us talking, the others came back and we started.

Timeskip to next day

Madelyn pov:-

I woke up and did my morning routine. After I got dressed, I went downstairs and greeted mom and Matt. While we were eating our breakfast mom started speaking.

"From today onwards, you'll stay at aunt Laura's house because I won't be here for a few days since I have a business trip!" Mom said

"WHAAA-" I said

"Why should we move?, I mean we can stay here alone!" Matt said

"Well, whose gonna take care of Leo and do the house chores when you guys are not here?" She asked us

"We could do it after we come home from school!" I said

"You think you can trick me my babies?" She laughed

"Well, anyways-, get ready, we have to go her house! Move your butts!" She said

"Alright mom!" We both said at the same time

We both packed up our things and took our things to the car. We waited for mom, to take her car keys and lock the main door and all. After she came, we all got inside and took off. I was going my phone when suddenly I got a notification.

*ON THE CHAT*

Unknown:- Hello!

Madelyn 💖:- Hey I guess, who are you?

Unknown:- I'm Chan, you know from the school😅

Madelyn 💖:- Oh yeah

Chan 🙃:- What's with that emoji?

Madelyn 💖:- Nothing, just for fun you know🤭

Chan 🙃:- Lol 😂

Chan 🙃:- So, what are you doing?

Madelyn 💖:- I'm actually moving to my aunt's house for a few days, since my mom is going to a business trip 😔

Chan 🙃:- Oh man.. 😔

Madelyn 💖:- I know right... 😭😭😭

Chan 🙃:- If you want, you can sent me your location and we can go for stroll!!

Madelyn 💖:- Yeah, sure! One minute, I think we've reached!

Chan pov:-

I was happily smiling while staring at the ceiling, when suddenly I heard someone parking their, I looked out of my window. I saw someone parking their car near Laura's house. I didn't mind and was about to go back to my bed, when I saw Madelyn getting out of the car along with Mrs Kim and Mattew. I ran downstairs, I was about to go out, when dad called me and said

"Chan, could you give the cake to Laura's house since I didn't have time to give to them because I was busy yesterday?"

"Yeah, sure dad!" I said knowing that I could see Madelyn.

I was smiling so badly that Lucas noticed me and asked me why was I smiling hardly. I ignored him and went outside.

Madelyn pov:-

I was getting out and taking my bags from the trunk when suddenly I saw a familiar face. It was Chan. I was shocked.

'How the fuck did he reach here this fast? I didn't even sent the location! Wait a minute! Was he stalking me? No, he wouldn't do that he's a gentleman after all!'

All these questions ran around my head. When suddenly he went to aunt Laura and gave her something. To my utter shock, aunt Laura pulled him by his sleeve and asked him to stay here so that she could introduced me and Matt to him.

"Kids, this is my neighb-" Before she could finish saying mom interrupted

"Sorry for interrupting guys but, I'm leaving otherwise I'll be late!" Mom said

I and Matt went towards her and gave a kiss on each of her cheeks

"We're gonna miss you mom. We love you, take care of your health and don't forgot to call us mom!" We both said to her

She smiled and said

"Me too darlings, love you more!"

Afrer saying that, she left and we both saw her camouflage into the road.Our attention went back to Chan and aunt.

"As I was saying, this is Chan, my neighbor's oldest son!" She said

"Actually aunt, we know him we're all in the same school!" Matt said

"Yeah, he's right!" I said agreeing with him

"Really?" She asked us surprised

"Yeah, really!" Chan said

"Well, anyways thanks son for the cake!" She said

"Anytime! Uh... Madelyn could I talk to you for second?" He asked

"You guys go in, I'll come after some time!" I said to them

I followed him, he led me to the backyard of his house.

"What happened?" I asked him

"You see, the thing is-

Before he could complete his sentence, someone called him.

"Hey Chan!"

I turned around to see who it was, it was Felix. I smiled and waved my hand at him, which he gladly returned.

Chan pov:-

I was about to confess it to her, when out of no where Felix called me.

'What was the need to ruin the perfect moment? Urghhhhhhh!'

He came towards me along with the others.

"Weren't you coming to the basketball game?" Changbin asked me

I absolutely forgot about the basketball game, after talking to Madelyn, god that girl makes me go crazy.

"Oh... Uh... That..... Um..... I will come, for now why don't you guys leave?" I asked them

"Come on hyung, we're already late!" I.N whined while showing him his puppy eyes to Chan.

Felix pov:-

I and the others were going to Chan's house to ask him, why wasn't he coming for the basketball game. As we were going, we saw Matttew standing outside and talking to someone on his phone from Chan's neighbor's courtyard.

When he saw us, he smiled and waved at us, which we all returned. I had this feeling something bad was about to happen, so I immediately ran towards Chan's house, only to see him and Madelyn standing alone at his backyard. I immediately called him.
