Last POV for Sterling & of his Past

It was the end of my vacation. Lili and I were fully committed in our relationship, and she decided to live me with fully. So she has been staying in my house that Providence is not aware about. Providence and mother is not aware of Lili, and I'm keeping it that way. Those two are not ready to meet, it's not time.

I am driving to headquarters, but my mind is somewhere else. That boy that I saw being thrown into the river several months ago. Those gang members used his vulnerability to finish him off; being a secret agent, I was supposed to save him, because that is what I do. But the feeling of him being a time leaper, it won't go away. It's bothering me, and it's annoying!I hope that he is dead, because I just know he will interfere with my plans; everything I worked so hard to build.

I finally drove up to the beautiful scenery of headquarters glowing under the sunny sky. Parking my expensive vehicle in the underground garage, using my key card to go into a clear elevator, and entering into the technological offices, weapons rooms, training area, and multiple meeting rooms.

I went straight to mother's office, wanting her warm embrace after being gone for a year. But instead, I saw her rushing from her office in a hurry. " Madame Carlisle, I'm back from vacation. How have you been?" I said energetically. " Yes, nice to see you, but I have to go right now. Talk later?" She said while rushing past me, pressing the elevator aggressively and heading down to the infirmary.

That... hurt my heart a little, but I paid no mind. "Probably some important mission debriefs... but it won't be so bad to see what the rush is.' I told myself. I headed down the elevator and curiously pressed the button down to the infirmary. Stepping out, all of the doctors and nurses were in a large group, with another in the middle. They were rapidly questioning a patient in the middle, who then passed out in mother's arms. ' What on earth is going on?' I thought confused.

The doctors and nurses dispersed showing the unconscious patient in mothers arms. My heart beated rapidly and widen my eyes to see the same boy who is supposed to be dead seven months ago. His blonde hair messy while slumping his face on mothers shoulders, the type of comfort and love I NEED! THAT ONLY BELONGS TO ME!

" Give him some space, he most be in shock from the news of his coma. Give him more fluids through the IV and prepare a meal for him. Give me a report on the implants inserted into his body, it's the only thing that's keeping him alive. Do I make myself clear?" Mother ordered with assertiveness. " Yes Madame Carlisle!" The doctors and nurses said before leaving to their designated takes.

Mother picked and up and carried him back to his room. He was so fragile in her arms. My heart was heavy, jealously was weighing on me. 'I knew it was too good to be true, that boy is already causing problems for me. Is he gonna take mother away from me? No!...relax Sterling. That's not gonna happen, control yourself. You are a secret agent, and the boss of your mafia. Just make things your way, and keep an eye on that timeleaper!"
