39.Heartbreaks

Darshan closed the door with a thud.
Looking at the flower pot kept on the side table he took it and threw it on the wall satisfying his anger

"Why would you do that"he sat on the corner of his bed holding his head
Tears made their way down as he remembered what he just saw

Getting up Darshan went inside the bathroom....and splashed water on his face
"Look at you.... already a mess for the girl who is with her ex"He said looking in the mirror and chuckeled sarcastically

But it didn't stop his eyes from shedding tears....thinking that the girl he loves..is again back with her ex...thinking that he will lose her another time....thinking that she was never his .....that they were never meant to be together

He somehow managed to stop and came out.
Glancing at his phone he saw 3 missed calls from Siddharth..not being in the mood, Darshan decided to call him later and laid on his bed
Opening the gallery(photos) he clicked on One of their picture
"Why would you even give me hopes by saying that you are not sure Anshu....you should have told me before"He said tracing her face with his thumb and dozed off after sometime

Coming back Anshika glanced at his house.
"Are they back?"She thought to herself and went inside her house

After some time

*Did you eat?*Anshika texted Darshan but it wasn't delivered
So she went to his house and knocked on the door

Darshan opened the door
"Khana kha ke aaye ho?"Anshika asked
"Nahi"he answered looking away
"Okay...I am making khichdi...tu aaja fir"Anshika said
"No... don't make anything for me"Darshan said
"Are you all right?"She extended her hand to touch his hand but he took his hand back
"I...I am fine...Mujhe order karna hai khana aaj"Darshan
"But you like khi-"
"Anshika I am working...so if you are done please.."Darshan said coldly looking at her
"h-haa...I just...it's okay...bye"Anshika said and immediately went back

"What's wrong with him....he even called me Anshika"she said coming inside
"Abhi dopeher Tak toh theek tha...ab kya hua....they had an argument I guess"Anshika thought

Next day:

Anshika got ready and left her apartment.
She saw Darshan coming so she stopped the elevator for him...but he turned towards stairs as he saw her...She frowned at his behaviour

"Kya hua...why are you so off?"Avish asked Darshan
"Kuch nahi"he said and forced a smile
"Bata saale..... It's not like I know you today"Avish said wrapping his hand around his shoulder
"Arey..sacchi"Darshan said
"Hogaya?ab bolega?"Avish crossed his arms
"Woh... Actually..."
He went near Avish's ear and whispered
"Subah se dysentery ho Rahi hai"

"Chut!ye toh itna muh latkaye kyu ghum raha hai... medicine khaa"Avish said jerking him
"Bohot patli patli si ho-"
"Chiiii Darshan stop!"Avish said going away as Darshan chuckeled
"Kamina kahika"Avish shouted
"I denied....you were forcing so"Darshan replied
"Bhaad mein ja"Avish
"Akele nahi...tere sath"Darshan went towards him with a smile

"Oh.. you're here"Hardil said
"Yes"Anshika answered and closed the door
"Aaj kaha thi tu?"Avish asked
"Recording thi na....Splendid me"Anshika answered
"Acch-"
"Sacchi wahi gayi thi ya kahi aur ye bhi pucho"Darshan said in low voice
"Kya?"Anshika asked
He nodded to say nothing
"Come here"Siddharth called her where he was sitting with Darshan and Avish
She went towards them....Darshan got up and went away

Anshika looked at his walking figure
"Is he mad at something?"She asked
"He was okay till now"Siddharth said
"Did you say anything to him?"Avish asked
"No....we talked Normally...but he is acting weird from night"Anshika told them
"Pet kharab hai uska shayad"Avish said
Anshika shrugged

A few days later:

Darshan is completely ignoring Anshika these day's.....let it be her texts,her calls or she herself...he only talks with her when they are in studio or when something is related to work and obviously His bestfriends noticed it

"Darshan"Anshika called him
He looked at her and continued walking
She walked faster to come near him and as a result her foot got sprained
"Ouch"She hissed
Darshan came towards her and held her hand to provide support
"You should be careful of what you are doing....you never know what goes wrong"He said with his not so normal voice...looking deep in her eyes
"Arey..what happened"Shraddha came and saw her foot
Darshan went away leaving Anshika confused
"What is wrong with him"

"Let's go to Marine drive"Anshika suggested
"Haa.. it's been many days since we went there"Siddharth said
"I don't have any problem"Avish
"Me neither...let's go"Hardil agreed
"You guys go...I want to go home"Darshan said
"Kyu?Chal chup chap"Avish said
"Haa... there's nothing due tomorrow anyw-"
"I want to rest Avish"Darshan replied ignoring Anshika
"What is wrong with you Darshan"Anshika asked going infront of him
He stepped back and looked away

She ran her fingers through her hair being frustrated by his ignorance....at first she thought it was because of what happened between them...but she wasn't at fault so why would he ignore her....Being a sensitive person it was triggering her so much so she wanted to know the reason today

"I am talking to you"She said making him look at her grabbing his jaw with her hand... tears already welled up in her eyes

"Avish...tell her mujhe yaha koi tamasha nahi karna hai"Darshan jerked her hand and started going but she stopped him by holding his wrist
"DON'T TOUCH ME"Darshan shouted that made her flinch
She left his hand
"Darshan"Hardil
"Tu pagal hai kya...what is this behaviour?"Avish held Anshika
"Are you out of your mind or what?"Siddharth scolded Darshan
"Yes I am"He said and went out

Going towards his car he sat inside and told the driver to take him home

Resting his head back...he watched out of the window and a tear rolled down
Darshan immediately wiped it and closed his eyes
"Play songs"He told

"Mere Ishq ke safar
Ko jaise lag gayi nazar,
Juban khamosh thi magar
Yeh Dil roya...."

"Change Karo....3rd playlist lagao"Darshan said and again rested his head closing eyes
