Weeks later:
Anshika looked at him slowly and immediately looked down after finding him glaring at her folding his hands....standing in front of her bed whereas she was laying in her bed...resting her head on the headboard
"Mind explaining?"He asked with his serious voice which she feared the most
"Darsh I..."she tried to come up with an excuse
"You?"He said
"I....."
"I d-didnt do it intentionally...it just h-happened"Anshika said
"Really? atleast give a good excuse"He said coming towards her
"You skipped your medicines....for freaking 4 days...and you are saying that it just happened?"Darshan sat on the bed
Anshika looked down... fidgeting her fingers...tears ready to flow from her eyes
"Anshu"he called her softly
"Look at me baba"
Anshika looked at him
"I'm...sorry"She again looked down
"Why didn't you take your medicines?"He bend down to face her
"Woh....I"
"Hmm?"
"Promise me you won't scold me"She said showing him her palm
"Promise"Darshan held her hand between his
"Actually.....I-i wanted to see if it will really affect when I stop taking the pills"
Darshan scoffed hearing her answer and closed his eyes to control
"Very good... impressive"He said
"I..am really speechless"He got up
"You said you won't get ma-"
"Shut up"He said and went out
Coming back with a glass of milk and medicines prescribed by doctor
"Drink it"Darshan said keeping the glass on the table
"Paani ke sath bhi le sakte hai"Anshika said
"Tu doodh ke sath legi"He replied
"Why"she whined
"Aur 4 baar chakkar aane chahiye kya phir?"he looked at her
She nodded as no
"Drink"he said
Anshika made a pleasing face at him
"Aise nahi manegi na"Darshan went near her and took the glass in his hand
"Eat medicine first"
*Door bell rang*
"Finish it quickly "Darshan said keeping the glass back and wentto open the door
"Is she fine?"Avish came in along with Pooja
"Anshuu"
Anshika looked at them with a smile
"I am good"She said
"Kya karti rehti hai yaar tu"Avish said looking at her pale face
"Exactly....how can you forget medicines?"Pooja asked
"Forget?nahi nahi...tell them the real thing no"Darshan said leaning on the wall
Anshika didn't say anything
"Kya hua?"Avish asked Darshan
Darshan told him what she told him before
"Wtf?"Avish looked at her in disbelief
"Are you for real?Pagal hai kya thodi?"Pooja
"They are not candies baba.....medicines hai woh!"Avish looked at her
"Do you understand the meaning of medicines Anshika?do you have any idea what could've happened?"Pooja said being serious
"I just-"Anshika tried to explain but she knew it won't help🙂
"Your clumsiness has reached its peak"
After a long lecture session by all of them.....Darshan noticed the glass of milk
"You didn't finish it yet?"He frowned
"I will eat everything....but not milk ple-"
"Drink it right away Anshu"Darshan said
"Milk helps...peele"Avish said
"It's just milk"Darshan said
"Wahi toh...it's ju-"
"Are you drinking it or not"He asked
Avish and Pooja were enjoying how she was obeying him
"Itna nahi fir....half?"Anshika took the glass in her hands
"Full"he said
She complained but it was of no use
"Anshika!"He said in a stern voice and within few seconds the glass was empty
Anshika fake vomitted after drinking it
"Bhai yeh Anshika dekhne ka maja hi kuch aur hai"Avish said laughing

Avish and Pooja went back after some time.
"Chal...You rest...I'll go"Darshan kissed her forehead
She held his hand.....he turned around to face her
"Kya hua baccha?"
"Do you have any work?"She asked
"No..but-"
"Don't go then....I don't want to be alone"Anshika said as he sat on the bed
"Fine"He smiled at her
She patted next to her telling him to lay down...he did so.
Anshika kept her head on his chest and he wrapped his hands around her.....playing with her hair.....Anshika looked up at him and smiled
"What happened?"he asked being confused
She nodded as no and rested her head back on his chest
"I love you"He chuckled and kissed her hair
Now somewhere she was sure that she made the right decision....Darshan is not someone who will play with her feelings or will be with her just for timepass....by now...she knew that his feelings are genuine....How he scolds her when she does something wrong...how he cheers her when she is doubting herself...The pain on his face when she get's hurt or the smile on his face when she is happy....She was convinced that Avish wasn't lying when he said Darshan's love will never fade...she felt the safest in his arms....A little closeness with him gave her tons of butterflies....How he was able to make her blush by his words....Anshika was now sure....he loves her....and she loves him too!
"I love you too"Anshika said more like whispered
"WHAT.....what did you just say?"He asked to make sure he heard the right thing
Anshika snuggled into him more being shy
"Wahi Jo tune suna"
"F'ck i-"He hugged her so tight with a smile
"Areyyyy....I can't breathe"She said
"I can't tell you how happy I am"
Anshika giggled and wrapped her arms around him once again and fell asleep after some time .
Darshan looked at her and smiled
"I promise to protect you at any cost,love"saying this he kissed the top of her head
