Y/N:

There I stood in court, before three imposing judges, my body forced into a loose blue prison uniform, hands and feet cuffed together. The air was thick with anticipation, every set of eyes fixed on me, the prosecutors eager to see what fate awaited me. I had already accepted it. I knew exactly how this would unfold, yet as I braced myself, ready to face the inevitable, the judge at the center of the bench rose to his feet.

"Choi Y/N," his voice boomed, carrying an authority that seemed to shake the very walls. His gaze met mine, and in those eyes, I saw something burning-rage, contempt.

"On charges of reckless driving and grand theft auto, the court finds you guilty." He began, his words thick with exasperation. "On charges of assault, the court finds you guilty. On the charge of assault with a deadly weapon, the court finds you guilty. And on the charge of first-degree murder..." He paused, letting the words linger in the air, a deafening silence filled the room.

I felt the weight of every eye, the stillness suffocating. My heart beat in time with the silence, and I feel the tension bare over me.

His gaze never wavered, his voice cold and unyielding.

"The court finds you guilty."

The room erupted. Shouts and curses filled the air, some filled with anger, others with glee. I exhaled slowly, my chest heavy with resignation, and dropped my head slightly.

When I raised my eyes again, they locked with the judge's. His stare was sharp-piercing-as though he wanted to add something more, something final. A dark smile tugged at the corner of my lips. I gave him a subtle nod, I felt something stir within.

"Order in the court!" The judge's voice cracked through the chaos, his gavel striking down again with authority. He turned, glancing briefly at the spectators behind me, then returned his focus to me. The room settled quickly, the heavy silence closing in once more.

"Mr. Choi," the judge said, his voice cold and commanding, "I hereby sentence you to sixty years in prison, with the possibility of parole after twenty years of service." The gavel struck with a sharp crack, the sound reverberating through the courtroom, and I felt it in my chest, like the weight of everything finally settling down on me. But in that moment, I felt no anger, no sadness, no regret. No resentment for the actions that had led me here. Instead, a small, unexpected part of me felt something different.

I turned my gaze behind me, and there she was. Her eyes were glassy, holding back tears that threatened to spill over. Her lips quivered, as if she wanted to say something but couldn't find the words. Her hands were clenched tightly, trembling.

My expression softened, a reassuring smile forming despite everything. That's when I saw it-a single tear slipping down her gentle face. And that's when everything came rushing back-the time we'd spent together, the struggles, the mistakes, and the moment she entered my twisted life. All of it played out like a film.

"Come on, dude, I just need a little money-I'll pay you back, I swear." Windu's voice was persistent as he hovered around while I worked on my motorcycle.

I didn't even look up at him. "Yeah? How many times have I heard that from you?" I shot a glance over my shoulder, but he was already looking away, avoiding my eyes. "Since we were kids, huh?" I chuckle dryly.
