"Jade? Jade are you okay?"
I opened my eyes even though I was struggling. "Aunt Margaret? Why are you here? What happened? Where's B?"
"Jade, you were asleep for too long. And B just went out to buy some groceries. How are you? Do you remember anything?"
"Asleep? For how long?"
" 2 months."
"WHAT. WHY" I never expected to be comatose for that long.
"The above. They punished you. I told you remember? I knew this was bound to happen but I didn't know It would be this harsh. Im sorry Jade. I should've warned you even more."
"This isn't your fault Aunt Margaret. Don't blame yourself."
"I was so worried about you Jade. I didn't know when you'll wake up."
"Im awake now. Im okay Aunt Margaret, stop worrying."
"You cant say that. I don't know if this will be their only punishment Jade."
I heard the door opened.
And there he was.
"Jade!" He hugged me so tight. I feel safe. "I thought I was going to lose you." Tears came out from his eyes. This was the first time I saw B crying. "I was so afraid of losing you hon."
"Don't say that. We should always be strong B."
"I know. It's just that Im weak without you Jade. You're my strength. You're my power."
"Iloveyou B."
"Iloveyou Jade."
And we hugged again.
"I need to go above. I need to know whats going on. I will visit the both of you after I get answers"
Aunt Margaret kissed my forehead. "I'll do something about this. Ill do my very best to keep you safe Jade."
"Thank You Aunt Margaret, and be safe yourself too."
Aunt Margaret was gone after a few seconds.
"How are you hon?"
"I should be the one asking you that B. How are you?"
"Im fine now that you're here."
"Me too."
