SpruceWolf and the thumbnail sketches are done! For all of them, the wind would probably be less prominent with only a few "whisps"/clouds of colorful dust in the swoopy areas (i.e., there like would be less wind lines). With 2 and 3, I played around with adding some rock shapes to make the horizon/desert look a little more interesting, but I don't know if they fit into your world :)
This is the rough idea where the character, city, and sky/wind are laid out—none are set in stone! If you have any feedback or changes, either major or minor, please tell me now! You will not be able to change things (besides minor adjustments) after this stage.
