"How many times can a heart be shattered and still be pieced back together? How many times before the damage is irreparable?"

Epilogue
F O U R Y E A R S L A T E R
"Could we go for ice cream?" The little kid with me asks.
"No we're supposed to stay put and not do anything." I reason for like the millionth time that night.
"Could we maybe go to the park?" He asks again.
"As I said before, no we're supposed to stay put and not do anything." I repeat.
"Could we g-" he starts again.
"Nicholas Julian Ryder please shut the hell up before I call your father." I say finally snapping.
Gosh, 3 year olds were handfuls.
"Man do you have anger issues." He whines.
"Look I'll make you a deal, you shut up and I'll buy you a chocolate bar without your mom knowing."
That'll shut him up
"Deal." he said with a devilish smile.
So I'll pick you up from where we finished 4 years ago.
Me, Victoria and Drew stayed in San Francisco for college whereas Adam and Mac went to Washington and as we all know, Jace is in London.
My brother and Eliza are in college having the time of their lives while we have to start looking for jobs.
Troye got married to some chick at his college named Lacey and had a kid named Nico who I'm stuck babysitting for the rest of my life (or until I move out of San Francisco)
"YOU HAVE A PHONE CALL CAKE." Nico yelled.
I'm Cake because apparently my name starts with a 'C' and I'm sweet.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that." I mutter angrily.
I quickly snatch my phone out of Nico's hand and press the green button, receiving the call.
"Hello bestie." Victoria sings.
"Hey sweetheart, what's up."
"Not much, just calling to tell you to get ready, we're reaching Troye's house with the guys." she says.
"Get ready for what?"
"Oh right I forgot to tell you, we're having a small gathering for the five of us so dress nicely."
Five?
"Does small gathering translate to rather large apartment destroying party? Because there are no snacks at Troye's house."
"No, yeesh lady that was one time." I say remembering the time Victoria trashed my appartment.
"Tori will he be coming?"
"Yes, Adam will be there to hog the food I know you miss him." Victoria snickered before disconnecting the call.
Not what I meant dipshit
"Cake are Tom and Jerry coming home tonight?"
Translation: Adam and Drew
"Yep and Beast and Duchess."
Translation: Mac and Victoria.
All these weird names Nico gave us made me feel like our names were really tough, and mine was four letters.
"Are mommy and daddy going to be home late tonight?" Nico said while yawning.
"Yeah buddy, so you're going to have to be a good boy and not wander of to the park like you did last week."
Yes, he did that.
The doorbell rung causing Nico to spring up and answer it before I could beat him to it.
He quickly stood up on his toes and twisted the door knob open.
"Beast, Duchess your here!" Nico yells, hugging Victoria and Mac's leg.
"Hey! Nico what about Tom and Jerry, don't you think they deserve a hug too?" Drew asks.
He shakes his head and begins to cutely giggle as Adam scoops him into his arms.
"Hey you guys." I say looking at Adam and Mac "Hope you missed me."
"Yeah, of course we did." Mac says.
"Emphasis on did, Wilson." Adam jokes.
I run inside with Victoria and Mac for a bit to show them something I had told them over the phone and when I come back to the living room I'm greeted by another familiar face.
"Hi there, I don't think we've met before." The voice says, slightly laced with humour.
"Oh but we have, it was just a very long time ago." I shoot back.
"Then I suppose we're strangers because I don't exactly remember you." he says, that signature smirk on his face.
"I'm Jace Ryder." He introduces.
"Kira Wilson." I continue after a second trying my best not to break into the smile which has found it's way to my lips.
"Pleasure to meet you Sunshine."
"Pleasure to meet you too Skater boy." I say finally smiling.
THE END
A/N
Lol we're done and man was this fun to write, though I'm not all that sure it was as fun to read. (What the hell am I saying, I'm sure it must have been fabulous)
THERE IS NO SEQUEL. I REPEAT, THERE IS NO SEQUEL but there may be a spin-off, emphasis on may.
Hats of to the couple of you that actually read my story and continued to read it along the way. It means a lot to meet that people would read my shit. Till next time goodbye, sayonara and ciao.
