An: Best chapter yet in my opinion. Five is coming soon and it gets a little kinky. Kinkier?
Summary: Bella and Alice make out a lot but also spend quality time. Bella eases some of Alice's worries and Alice is handsy. Not that Bella minds of course. Just trying to follow Alice's slow and steady rule. Like that's gonna last for long.
Bella P.O.V
My head, why does it hurt so much? Why is everything so bright? I closed my eyes, burying my face in the pillow underneath me. Everything hurts. I know my period was supposed to come on any day now, which is really a pain in my ass. No blood, which is nice, because I'm not sure how that would even work to be honest. But that just means everything else is worse. The cramps, the bloating, overheating easily, being super hungry all the time but not being able to stomach anything.
Oh and the mood swings. The mood swings are a bitch. But this morning feels different. It feels like more...usually I'm not this sensitive to light. And my mouth is so dry, so so dry. Ugh, my head is poun-
Where the fuck is my girlfriend?! Why isn't she here cuddling me right now? Doesn't she care about me? If she cared about me she would be holding me.
"Ali-" I started to whine, lifting my head.
"I'm right here, my love. I was just getting you some water. I know you're thirsty." Alice cooed, crawling into the bed next to me. Holding the cup in front of me so I didn't have to lift a finger. My cheeks reddened in shame at my train of thought. Okay, so I was being a little dramatic earlier.
She does care, I know that. But this really shows it. I took a sip from the paper bendy straw, sighing in relief when I felt her cool hand cupping my face.
"My head... what happened last night? Did I get hit by a truck?" I asked and Alice chuckled, causing me to look over at her. Luckily, she was so pretty that the bit of sun that was peaking through the window didn't bother me as much.
Her skin was sparkling, like her skin was covered by diamond dust or something else that was equally majested. I reached up to touch her, to see if she was real because I must be dreaming. This can't be real.
I'm somewhere in Forks, probably in a coma or something. Because there's no way this is real, she's shimmering.
"No, you didn't get hit by a truck. We went dancing, remember?" She asked and I dragged my thumb across her bottom lip. She's real. Just when I thought she couldn't be anymore beautiful, she starts shimmering.
"That wasn't a dream?" I whispered and Alice grabbed my head, kissing my palm gently.
"No, it wasn't a dream. What all do you remember?" She asked, almost like she was nervous about what I was going to say next.
"You kissed me." I croaked and she nods.
"You kissed me first. I think I just kissed you more." Alice states and I hummed.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" She asked and I hummed.
"You're sparkling. Do you do that all the time?" I asked andn Alice's eyes widened.
"Shit, I didn't realize I had left the curtains open. I'm sorry, you weren't supposed to see me like this." She rambled, rushing across the room to shut the curtains before I could react.
"What? Why not? You're so pretty." I whispered, my voice thick and groggily. Alice held the cup to my lips again. Helping ease the dryness of my throat. Water had never tasted so good.
"It's embarrassing." She mumbled and I could see that it seemed like a sore topic.
"So you only sparkle like that in the sunlight?" I asked and she clenched her jaw.
