Chapter 22 Dinner With Mother

Draco's Pov:

Today Hermione and I were going to a nice restaurant to have dinner with my mother. I have no idea what she wants to talk about I think she said something about our relationship but I can't remember so I can't be 100 percent sure. My mother the first time I introduced her to Hermione she was pretty happy because of how well her respect and manners were if only she would actually watch the quidditch games because then she would be my dream girl completely. Although she already is my dream girl she just needs that one thing to improve upon.

The girls were taking Hermione to different places to get hair done along with her nails and then her outfit the girls will be helping her to choose.  All I had to do was wear something nice I chose my normal black suit and I then got my hair cleaned up a bit and then just put on some of my cologne that I always wear. I put on an expensive watch and some jewellery which was just a necklace and a couple of rings. But by the time I had finished getting ready Hermione was also done.

Hermione was wearing a pair of black ripped skinny jeans and a black tank top underneath a brown leather jacket she had a black bag with a silver strap and she was wearing some black ankle high heel boots with some lip gloss. I love her she is so beautiful and every time I see her I wonder what did I do to deserve someone as beautiful as Hermione. "You look beautiful love" I told her getting up and walking over to her "thanks darling you don't look too bad yourself" she told me kissing me. "Shall we leave?" I ask her and she nods  we apparate to the restaurant.

-At The Restaurant-

"Hermione dear! How have you been?" Mum asked running up to her and hugging her and Hermione hugged her back "I'm doing great Mrs. Malfoy" she replied smiling "Hermione you know you can call me Narcissa right?" She asked Hermione and she just smiled and then Mum saw me "Draco! How are you?" She asked me giving me a hug "I'm doing good Mum" I replied hugging her back "I have missed you both so much!" She said and then pulled Hermione into another hug "mum let's head into the restaurant" I told her and held the door open for them both "ahh Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy right this way" the waitress said she brought us to a private room for the Malfoys and of course my beautiful girlfriend we sat down and I sat down next to Hermione. "Hermione according to Draco you were the one to convince Draco to come to dinner with me" mum  told Hermione "oh really?" She asked trying to hide a smirk "yes dear he said if it weren't for you to convince him that we wouldn't  be here right now, you know you are Draco's only girlfriend that has ever wanted to hang out with his mother." She said and I felt a blush grow on my cheeks.

"I am not really surprised not a lot of people want to have dinner with their boyfriend's parents" she replied smiling the waiter came back "what would you 3 like?" She asked but was looking directly at me and making me feel really uncomfortable "I will get the spaghetti" I say and put my arm around her waist "I will get the same as him" Hermione said but she had a look of jealousy in her face "I will have the same" mum replied and I gave Hermione a quick kiss on the lips. "Okay, and drinks?" She asked after she took a quick sigh and was still staring directly at me "your finest red wine please" I replied and she left. "Welp that was annoying" I said after I sighed and I asked for a different waiter but a male so it wouldn't happen again "you okay love?" I asked Hermione when I looked over and saw that she didn't look her normal colour and she was more pale "yea I am fine I am just gonna go to the washroom for a minute" she said and then left and Ginny came over "what's wrong with Hermione?" She asked looking concerned "I don't know but she did look jealous while the waitress was here and then left but she said she was fine but I know enough to know that when a female says they are fine they aren't fine.

Ginny then left probably to go to the bathroom to check on Hermione leaving me and mum alone "Draco when did you realise you loved Hermione?" Mum asked me when Ginny was completely out of sight "mum the answer if you were asking me for the truth I would say that I have liked Hermione since the moment I landed eyes on her but if I was telling you a lie I would say since we had to start sharing a dorm." I replied smiling and Hermione came back "welcome back love" I told her and she sat down our food arrived and we were having a fun time, it was the first time in a while I have seen her loosen up a bit and try to have fun and not be all about business.

Mum had cracked a joke and Hermione was laughing so hard she knocked over her spaghetti but caught it just in time before it spilled it all over herself. "Look Won-Won the mudblood just embarrassed herself in front of Malfoy's mother"I could hear that terrible excuse of a witch Brown say, "yea you're right Lav why would Malfoy want a mudblood to date him after she just embarrassed him." Weasel agreed with her "call her that one more time" I said getting up from my seat but Hermione pulled me back down to my seat, "leave him alone babe he's not worth it" she told me I swear if it wasn't for her I would've jumped at him. "Never forget that you threw up slugs for a week the first time Draco called me that I will make sure you suffer something worse than that Weasley" Hermione said which surprised even me. "How dare you threaten my Won-Won you filthy little mudblood" Brown said standing in front of Weasel "you know Brown I am not a mudblood if you didn't know I am a Nott and I can easily hex you as well as your stupid little bloody 'Won-Won' who is a freaking poor excuse for a so called 'wizard'" Hermione finished and they stood there awestruck unable to speak until  Weasel pulled Brown away. "Wow Hermione I can see why they say you are the smartest witch of your age" mum said and Hermione smiled.

Wow 1145 words without the author's  note! I am so proud of myself but I can't take all the credit my friend Winterlily_123 helped me come up with the chapter because I was trying to make it interesting because none of my writing has been that interesting, but the argument that happened came to me as I wrote this. And I am so sorry for the late update I just haven't been in the mood for writing and it didn't help that I would get tired of it after a few lines. But I finally sat down and I pieced the writing together and just a reminder I will not be posting from the twelfth through the 16 for one I will be in Texas with some family and I will not have access to my computer I might let you guys know if anything changes and thank you again Winterlily_123 for helping me with this chapter.
