"Come on mom can't you make some sort of statement?" Pleaded Belle from where she was resting on the couch. Taylor and her daughter had just gotten back from Belle's first in clinic cardiology appointment since you'd been home from the hospital which apparently would have to be a monthly thing from now on.

The mother/daughter duo hadn't been doing much of anything except watching movies and spending time together since Belle was given strict instructions by the surgeon to take it easy for the next few days. Taylor was honestly still traumatized over seeing Belle go into cardiac arrest and had a hard time leaving her daughter's side except for occasionally working in her home studio. 

Taylor's friends Abigail came by to visit with lunch and dinner almost every day, while Selena had also made a stop in Nashville to see how her favorite niece was doing, and Belle had been visited by a few of her friends from school. 

However Belle was currently concerned with the fact that her mom was getting criticism for postponing the next few dates of her tour until June. Taylor hadn't specified why to the public and Belle knew if Taylor just told them the situation they would all understand.

"Honey, I really don't want to be giving your medical information to the public," said Taylor. From the kitchen table where she was currently typing away on her laptop.

"We don't have to tell them anything too personal," argued Belle. "Just enough so they're aware of the situation, so they'll stop hating on you for postponing the shows."

"That's not something you should be worrying about," said Taylor giving her daughter a pointed look.

"But mom think of how many fans you have that are living with scary illnesses like mine," pleaded the young girl. "Making a statement could help people feel less alone if the daughter of someone they admire is going through something similar."

At this point Taylor got up from the kitchen table and walked over to the couch before sitting next to her daughter. "You are one of the sweetest and most compassionate people I know," she said holding Belle in her arms. "I'll call Tree and see what we can do."

"I love you mom."

"I love you to Princess," she said kissing your forehead.

"This is something my daughter and I really want you to know about. Unfortunately a couple weeks ago Belle suffered from a cardiac arrest. By the grace of God , my amazing security team, and incredible paramedics she survived. However Belle has since been diagnosed with a genetic heart disease. I will be keeping the details of her condition and treatment plan private. I just wanted you why I postponed the next few dates of my tour, and why I may not be making as many TV or red carpet appearances going forward. Belle also really wanted you all to know in case so anyone out there dealing with a scary medical issue can realize they're not alone."

The tumblr post had been extremely effective and no one was hating on Taylor any more. Fans had reached out to give Her and Belle their best wishes. Many people and news outlets were praising Taylor for being such a loving a dedicated mother above all else. Several of Taylor's celebrity friends and acquaintances that didn't know about the situation already reached out to Taylor personally to ask how Belle was doing.
