Mark,Lia,Maddie,Britanny

during lunch i was invited by those three new kids to eat by the big tree in the side of our school.the strangest thing happened. april suddenly asked me about the girl who died in the news this morning.

"hey jade."

 april said getting my attention.

"did you know that girl that died in the news this morning."

 she asked me.

"no."

 i answered.

" why do you asked?"

 i asked april.

"because brittany said you might've seen her yesterday in a cafe across the street from where the murder happened."

 april answered.

 i was a little confused.

"who's brittany?"

 i asked april. 

" she's my guardian. like lia. also brittany asked lia if you guys have seen the girl before"

 she answered.

 i almost choked on my food from the shock that april had a friends that was lia.

"wait. so you have a friend like lia. what about you guys?"

 i asked while looking at justin and violet. they both nodded their heads. i was a little freakedd out. i lost my appetite after that random conversation."ok lets cut to the chase here.

" justin said."my guardians name is Mark. violet's guardian is maddie."

 justin explained.

" and we are here because we think someone is of killing people with guardians"

 violet said.

 " we believe that the killer had a guardian once before but abused their power thus the punishment the guardian was taken away and he or she left all alone once again."

 april explained.

"but how would the killer know if he or she has a guardian by their side?"

 i asked 

"that's the interesting part. this person was special. since our guardians were like angels. angels are like spirits aka ghosts or spirits."

 april explained.

 " the killer as what we call has the gift. the ability to see spirits or ghosts. so meaning he or she can see other peoples guardian without any problem."

 april continued.

"what does all of this have to do with me?"

 i asked.

 " we need as much people to help us stop people like the murderer. you see once the person dies then the guardians have no purpose anymore thus we either drift away and be erased from existance or be passed on by the persons request."

 violet answered. 

my mind was overwhelmed by all of this. it was all so new to me. but before you knew it lunch was over and we had to get to our next class. during our last class before the end of school. i just couldnt seem to focus. all i could think about was what justin,violet, and april said. i had so many questions for them that needed to be answered. and i got so curious i just couldnt seem to get it out of my mind.but the one thing i really couldnt stop thinking about was lia. i noticed that shes been hovering around violet,april, and justin. maybe she's talking to their guardians. i cant really hear what they are talking about becuase they were in the corner window of our classroom. i could see that justin, violet, and april were curious as well on what they were talking about but we couldnt do anything about it or else people might think we were crazy or something.after school i had to go to art club and finish a project i was doing. i could tell that violet justin and april were following me becuase they needed to talk to me. but i really needed to finish the project no matter what. that was the only thing that mattered.

"ugh do you guys really need to hover around me while im finishing my project?"

 i said a little annoyed though.

"yes. we must stick together or else we will be killed by the murderer." 

april said

."fine"

 I said as i continued doing my project.I finally got to finish my project.I had not noticed how much time had past while I was doing my project.It was already 7:00 pm.I packed up all my stuff so I can finally go home.I guess it's take out tonight.Justin,April, and Violet were still following me.

"Guys are you really going to walk with me all the way home?"

I asked a little annoyed by the idea.I guess because I was not used to many people hovering around me all the time.

"Yes"

 they all answered together.Almost syncronized as if they had planned this all along.I finally made it home.And not suprisingly Justin,April, and Violet were still following me.It was really late in the evening and I couldn't just let them go home now especially with that insane person going around town killing of people who have special friends.Marina went outside and saw that I had some company.That's when I knew it was too late to back out now.I invited everyone inside.

"Marina we will just be upstairs in my room ok"

 I said already half way up the stairs.

"Jade wouldn't you want to introdce me to your friends?"

 Marina said.

"This is April Justin and Violet"

 I pointed out.

"Hello. My name is Justin and this is my sister Violet."

Justin introduced himself and Violet.

"I'm April and I'm best friends with both Justin and April."

ok that's all of us. if you need us we will just be upstairs bye." I said as quickly as i could and i pushed Justin April and Violet up the stairs as fast as i could.I didn't want Marina knowing too much about them. I barely know them myself.We sat down in my room and made ourselves at home.

"hey Jade is that your cat"

Justin pointed out somewhere in the corner of my bed.

"Oh yeah.I found him the other day somewhere in the garbage and so I thought I'd take care of him"I answered as I picked the cat up and put him on my lap.

"So what do we do now?"

I asked.

"Well I suggest we gather up all the people with special friends like us"

April said.

"Wouldn't that make the killers job easier.If we all gather up in one place or so we'd all get killed in a blink of an eye"

Violet concluded

.We all knew she was right.But that still didn't give us the answer to how we were going to stop this madness.

"Hey guys haven't you noticed that Brittany,Maddie,Lia,and Mark have been awfully quiet"

Justin said

.All of us looked at one another. Just the thought of it made us all jump.Our guardians were quiet in fact I couldn't even see Lia anymore.

"Guys I think they may have disappeared"

 I said

. Looking at everyone they seem to been in shock.So was I.What does it mean when our guardians disappear.Is it because maybe we don't need them anymore.If so I don't want to accept that I may not be able to see Lia anymore.Can guardians get separated from the child they're protecting or can they get into some kind of trouble. those words were racing in my head. i guess it's another mystery to be solved and another problem that needs an answer.
