A week after.

"And...he wass sooo close to mee!!"
Sayumi was blabbering about her interaction with Shiou.
They both are coincidentally neighbours and they met each other on the way to school which led to them walking together, side by side.
Chiyu giggled.
She was totally supportive of them.
Even though some part of her knew it very well that Sayumi would start liking someone new in a few days.
Sayumi not a playgirl but she is the type who gets bored real quick.
It is actually quite surprising that she has been stuck on him for 3 months now.
"OH AND I WATCHED THIS ANIME WHERE....."
she kept on talking, Chiyu kept on listening because she is the best listener of course.
Ikumi was listening to her too with a smile since Sayumi looks so silly in hyperness while talking about her 'anime crushes'.
But Ikumi was drafting towards her thoughts too. The day when Gensyu held her wrist.
It had been disturbing her.
The thought would always barge in into her head even when she would try to keep it aside.
Takane came dragging her feet and shouted Chiyu's name while rushing to hug her.
She is just weird sometimes.
"Chiyuuuuuuuuu"
Chiyu chuckled.
"Must be about Kpop."
She said.

"Yesssssssiiiiee"

Pyurin came to their class during short break.
"PYURINNNN Today Polka and me walked to school together yknoww!!"

Polka was Shiou's code name.
She gave it secretly because that so called "Polka" reminded her of Shiou.
But only Chiyu, Ikumi, Takane and Pyurin alongside Sayumi knew about it.
Nobody else could.
Nobody else SHOULD NEVER know.

Pyurin rolled her eyes evidently annoyed.
She was so done with Sayumi's "crush" talks.

After school.

"Ikumi, do you wanna hit sometime? We all don't have tuition today. But Chiyu will go by her usual car so she aint coming...We thought of calling you" said Pyurin to Ikumi while walking down the school gate.

"Uh I would but Im so sorry..
My dad's best friend's family is coming today for dinner..and he is a job colleague of my dad too...so it is important that I have to attend it..so I gotta learn before 7."

They all teased in union

She gave out an awkward laugh before waving bye to everyone and getting inside a taxi.

The thought of Gensyu struck her again.
Why is this happening?
Why can't she put the thought aside?

Ikumi's pov

"Ikumi..!! Did you finish studying..?" Her mother called out from downstairs.

"Mom. I have homework too, it'll take half an hour.." I yelled back so she could hear.

"Ok. But make sure you come downstairs."

"Kayy mom"

She was completing her homework and she was almost done.

Meanwhile downstairs-

*laughs*
Her father's friend and their family had arrived shortly before.
They all were talking.

"Where is your daughter? I've heard from my son that she is good in studies."
That so called colleague said.

"She must be coming...she said she had homework" Ikumi's mother responded with a smile.

"Ikumi!!" Her mother called from downstairs.

Ikumi was now annoyed.
She had a last sum but it was out of her reach.
She was trying to understand that but since she couldn't and her mom occasionally calling her name repeatedly made her annoyed.
So she decided she wouldn't respond.
She would come down after she finishes so it wouldn't matter.

Then.

She heard footsteps of someone coming upstairs.
It was an unfamiliar one.
She turned around looking at the door wondering who it is..
It is probably her guests coming to greet her.

The door knob slided and he came in-

She froze then with a confused and startled expression said-
"GENSYU????"
