Chapter 5: Saved

I have dared to defy, the malignant way of setting justice for the people. One thing that I learned in this landscape, Is the thought of fighting for survival, yet there's no direction.

It was the same in El Edhua. The law of the wild is the standard for you to survive. If you don't want to be devoured, you need to fight and survive.

Lavin is right. We've been walking for a few hours now in this broad daylight. Without the pill, I would bet my whole life to be stuck in the coffin for a decade. Well, I won't bother to complain.

He chuckled before decided to rest in an open chair. My eyes immediately diverted to his hand when it moves to get the glass a few distance from us. He's using his ability to move things.

"Refrain yourself from doing that." It will be hard if we get caught doing something that were beyond their imagination.

We're not capable of showing emotions. The elders said that the greatest emotion that could weakened us, is Love.

Till now, I couldn't find the right definition of love. I couldn't seem to understand that feeling as, again, I'm not capable of doing that, but....

"What do you call this one?" I asked while staring at this vertical slice of yellow crisp.
