... La'Kyrie ...

I woke up and groaned while stretching. I had a headache and my body felt heavy. I cracked open my eyes and looked at the alarm clock on the bedside table. The time read eight a.m. I sat up and got out of the bed. I didn't see Jasmine and assumed she was in the bathroom. I looked down at my clothes seeing the outfit I wore to the club last night.

Visuals from last night filled my mind. I can't believe how crazy I behaved last night. I was definitely out of my element. I've never partied like that before. Most of the events I attended were formal and the most twerking I'd done was in the mirror in the privacy of my bedroom. Still I couldn't help but smile as I reminisced because last night was also the most fun I've ever had. I'm learning money doesn't curate happiness. It's really about the people you have in your life who bring you happiness.

I knocked again but didn't get a response. I twisted the knob and the bathroom was empty. Hmm I wonder where she went off to. I used the bathroom and proceeded back into the room. I eyed a piece of paper taped to the door. I walked over and grabbed it.

'I'm with the boys in Keontae's room. - Love Jazzy Pooh.'

I laughed at the ending of the note. I was definitely drunk to randomly give her a nickname. I decided to take a shower before heading over to Tae's room. I walked into the bathroom and stripped out of my clothes before turning the water to the highest heat setting. The water felt amazing on my skin.

The longer I stayed in the more I felt my headache go away. After washing I got out and moisturized my skin with cocoa butter. I got dressed in a black, matching Versace sports bra and leggings. I put on my black Gucci slides and sprayed on my Gucci Flora perfume. I washed my hair in the shower and put it in a curly wet bun so it could air dry.

I made sure I grabbed the room key card and walked outside into the hallway. Keontae's room was just a few doors down. I knocked on the door and waited. Before I could knock again it swung open wide revealing Tae's big smiling face.

"Wassup sis? " He said grabbing me in a bear hug.

I laughed. No matter how many times a day we see each other we still hug like it's been forever.

"Hey brother." I said smiling.

He put me down and I followed him into the hallway before seeing everyone sitting in the living area talking. They were being very quiet. Once Antonio saw me he nodded at Jakari who had his back to me. Everyone stopped talking and turned to look at me. I grew nervous and confused to their behavior.

"Why are y'all staring at me? " I questioned.

"You had a wild night last night. How you feel? " Jakari asked.

He turned to face me and had a smirk on his face. I felt my cheeks heat up slightly in shyness.

"I'm fine. Thank you." I said.

I went to sit down next to Jakari while everyone laughed at my response.

"So what were y'all whispering about? " I asked intrigued.

"Just business stuff."  Jasmine said shrugging.

I nodded. I probably wouldn't understand most of what they were talking about anyway.

"Sooo somebody likes their liquor." Tae said eyeing me.

I scoffed before responding. "Now you should know that was a one time thing." I said.

"Yeahh alright. The way you was turning up, you could've fooled me." Jakari chimed in.

Him and Keontae laughed while I mugged both of them.
