Jakari In Media.

... Jakari ...

I washed my hands and walked out of the bathroom. Getting back on the couch I pulled the blanket back over me when I heard a noise. I paused immediately becoming alert. I heard it again and sat up.

"Who the fuck laughing?" I mumbled to myself quietly.

"Jakari stop. You're acting like a child."

"What the fuck?!!" I yelled jumping up and knocking the blanket off in the process.

I looked over at La'Kyrie laying in the bed; I could barely see her. The only light came from the window on the door illuminating the room. Her face was curved into a smile but her eyebrows were furrowed. I frowned at her body confused.

I'm not with that demon shit at all. I walked to the right side of her body cautiously. Reaching my hand out I began lightly shaking her body while calling out her name.

"Kyrie. Ma is that you or a fucking spirit trying to trick my black ass?" I said softly.

Her body laid still despite me shaking and talking to her.

"Kyrieee!" I sung out.

My voice was louder than before as my hand brushed her hair back. All of a sudden her body twitched and her eyes opened looking directly at me. Now I'm not gonna say that I got scared because it's not too many things I fear but a nigga was not expecting that. My body froze while whatever expression I had on my face remained.

"Kyrie you up ma?" I asked after a long pause.

We were both just staring probably freaked the hell out by each other.

She opened up her mouth to speak but as soon as she attempted violent coughs erupted from her. Her hand shot over her chest as she tried to stop them. Rushing over to her night stand I grabbed a paper cup and filled it up with the pitcher of water.

I placed the cup into her stretched out arm. She began drinking quickly and I started stroking her hair in comfort while watching her every move. Her eyes that were now watery  from coughing, were trained solely on me. Once she finished I took the cup from her and set it down on the table.

"Jakari." She called out.

Her voice sounded low and weak. Upon hearing her voice my body immediately spun around to face her.

"Wassup? You good girl?" I asked.

Her eyebrows furrowed as she began speaking.

"Why am I in a hospital?" She questioned.

"You don't remember anything that happened?" I asked.

She furrowed her eyebrows which I know is her way of thinking. As if a light bulb went off she began talking with a burst.

"I was kidnapped again." She stated more than asked.

"By who?" I asked now taking a seat at the edge of the bed.

"Uhh my old parents." She said.
