Forced Smile (Chapter 1)

Hyunjin POV :

I was walking to school and once I arrived I saw my girlfriend, she was bullying people again. She's been doing this after my arranged relationship with her was sealed. She thinks she can do whatever I can do just because I'm popular, it's funny how she thinks she's better than everyone when she's worse.

I walked up to the bullying. The prey, he was..pretty. What can an angel like him, do to get beaten up by her? I'm judging by looks as always, I shouldn't get involved but I feel bad.

"Baby, come on. Leave this little kitty alone. This bastard is a waste of Princess Julia's time!" I smiled at her, though it was forced. I would never smile at her. "Of course Jinnie! Leave this instant you filthy cat.." She smiled back at me.

I felt like ripping off her mouth, her face triggers me. The nerve she has, to still give the poor beaten up angel a dirty look? She better watch out..

The end of the school day)

"Jinnie~!! Can you walk mwe home?" She told me, her baby tone is ticking me off. "Sowwy Julia~ I'm heading somewhere important." I can't believe I said that..

She said she understood and left me alone to go home. I was walking to a park nearby, it's where I always calm down. I sat down on a bench and looked up, not so quite far, only a few steps away. There was a bench in front of me also, to my surprise I saw...

The boy from earlier? But this time I saw him with another boy, I recognized the boy, he used to bully me when I would wear a mask to school. After I got popular he got out of my life but in the same school still.

His name was Daniel. The boy who presented a cat was laughing with Daniel, I felt jealousy and anger abrupt in me. This is my calm spot, so I should leave. I can't spend a moment unrelaxed here, it won't feel the same.

I was getting up and grabbed my bag til I heard a familiar voice call my name, it was Daniel..

"Hyunjin?". I turned around, the cat like boy was also staring at me. I secured my bag onto my shoulders and started running. Why was I running? I don't know...I couldn't control myself.

Daniel caught up to me and the boy was following behind. "Hyunjin what-" I cut off Daniel, "don't say my name.. why are you here? You know this is where I always go." I asked him, completely ignoring the other boy.

"Oh sorry, uhm..what do I call you?" He asked me, he seemed nervous as I stared him dead in the eye. "You don't have to worry about that, you won't be talking to me after this last interaction of ours." My voice was shaky, but I didn't let my guard down.

"Right. I saw you in front of us, and realized I should apologize for my past actions." My eyes had tears building up in them. The both of the boys noticed and were shocked. "Who's us?" I quietly said.

"Felix and I, I'm sorry fo-" I cut him off once again. "Just leave me alone Daniel. Words won't fix anything, I can't even use them against you." I finally burst into tears, I noticed my vision getting blurry because I blinked too much times, that my tears got in my eyelashes.

I started running once again, why did he have to be there? Why did they have to be there. My tears kept flowing down my face as I was running, the wind blew my short but long lengthed hair against my face. I stopped running and let myself fall to the ground.

I was so close to leaving the area, I dont want to cry here. I'm afraid of choosing a different place with no horrible memories to restart again. My father chose this place for me before he died..

I cried loudly, letting the strangers looks getting the best of me from very far away. I started wiping my tears away with my hands weakly. Til I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up, it was the boy that I saw at school and just now. Daniel said his name was Felix before I ran away from them.

I rubbed my eyes to clear off the remaining tears, to get a good look of Felix. His face was bruised, I suddenly remembered what Julia did to him. I got angry, I got out of my head when I saw a hand wave in front of me.

"Y-yes?." I whispered, my voice was raspy. "Hello, Hyunjin right? I'm sorry about what happened earlier." He told me, his voice was calming and deep.

"You don't have to show sympathy for me..Felix." I whispered, but he heard. "I feel horrible for what happened, please forgive us." "I don't have to forgive you, but I'll never forgive him. I'm sorry about my girlfriends behavior at school." I reminded him, I was paying attention to his bruises.

He turned silent, touching his face slightly. "Don't worry, it was my fault." He mumbled, "your fault? How is that?" I responded. "I bumped into her because I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings.".

"I should've known, I saw you and knew you wouldn't do something bad. She's always starting things because of our relationship since I'm popular." I whispered to myself, but Felix heard me again.

"Can I help treat your bruises? I feel really bad.." that was a perfect excuse to invite both of them to my place. She could apologize and he could forgive.

"I don't mind, uh but how will you?" He asked me, he was thinking of something that made him turn red. "My house! My car is actually parked in front of the park. I could take you?" I looked at him more. "Why so red?" I was so curious.

"Oh then let's go to yours. You can take me, Im not red!" I laughed at his response and got up from the grass.

We were inside my car and I invited Julia to my place and once she agreed I started driving.

A/N: this was a little random, but I had to make Hyunjin have a share of his past. These ideas just keep coming in lol.

I wonder what will happen in the next chapter.
