Velvet and Veneer, the famous twin superstars, were having a typical Wednesday. They had set aside some time to practice their singing skills, but unfortunately, it didn't go well. In fact, it was beyond bad; it was absolutely dreadful. Both Velvet and Veneer were fully aware of their lackluster performance, and this realization was starting to make Velvet quite furious.

"Why do we have to practice anyway?! This was a stupid idea Veneer. I need more troll."

They removed the headphones and Veneer plopped onto the chair as his sister grabbed the diamond perfume bottle, giving it a vigorous shake. Catching a glimpse of his expression, she furrowed her brows.

"Veneer. Why's your face like that? Change it." He did as he was told. She smiled then  looked at the troll inside the bottle then sprayed it over her. Veneer leaned back slightly as she sang with the new voice. Velvet laughed manically, obviously too engrossed in getting more into her voice.

"That's it, Vel.." Veneer exclaimed, realizing she had gone overboard with the spraying. Her eyes widened, giving her a slightly wild look. She locked her gaze on him for a moment before tossing the bottle aside.

"Use it. We've got a concert coming up and your voice sounds shitty without it." Veneer looked at the pleading troll, hoping he would reconsider. Velvet had her back turned, trembling, and her hair was all disheveled. It was clear that she had taken too much, almost like she was high on drugs. "Just spray it!" she shouted at him, her voice even sounding different. He placed the perfume bottle down and shook his head. Velvet was taken aback.

"No. I won't. I won't hurt it anymore." Veneer hesitated when he said it and he stepped away from her incase she got angry, which she probably was. He stared at Velvet's back, noticing her hands had curled into fists.

"Vel..?" He asked.

As Veneer took a step back, he furrowed his brow, cautious not to make any sudden movements that could further upset her fragile state. He had seen her anger before, witnessed the destructive force it could unleash, and he didn't want to test those limits again. But he knew he had to tread carefully, for the words he had uttered held significant weight, capable of shattering the delicate balance of their relationship even further. She finally turned towards him, her eyes ablaze with a mix of anger in her voice.

"What did you just say?" Each word dripped with venom, causing Veneer to momentarily flinch.

He swallowed hard, his throat dry, and mustered up the courage to respond, careful to choose his words wisely. "I... I didn't mean it like that," he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper. "I just... I was caught up in the moment, and..." His words seemed to hang in the air.

She took a step toward him, he couldn't move backwards any further as he was against the wall.

"All I said was that maybe you had too much or maybe.." He stopped talking, seeing the face Velvet had. He gulped and looked away. "Why don't we go to the stage..?" Veneer suggested.

"Not until, you spray it. Do it or else."

"No."
