Veneer sniffed a little, gently touching the red spot on his cheek where velvet had struck him once again. He knew he couldn't hide it in time. Letting out a deep sigh, he returned to the recording room, forcing a smile on his face. He made sure his right cheek was turned away from the camera.

Velvet glared at him Kidritz smiled at little bit. They then went back to the interview, cameras flashing as they took pictures and filmed. It felt very tense in the room, especially whenever Veneer tried to talk when Velvet wanted too, she just put her hand on the top of his and dug her nails into it, shutting him up fast.

Veneer hadn't realised that his cheek was right in the camera line and they immediately began filming closer to his face and flashing pictures. Kidritz looked at his crew confused, then saw what they were looking at. Veneer's cheek was red and looked like it hurt, Velvet didn't seem to bothered either. She just talked on and on about herself and her music.

"What was life like before becoming superstars?" Ritz asked, smiling. Velvet's face dropped slightly. Veneer looked at his sister, just a glance before turning back to face Kidritz.

"Well.. we don't usually talk about our parents because.." Velvet began to tear up (obviously fake tears) and put a hand to her chest. "We were really poor and our parents died when we were young so that's why I don't like talking about them.." She sniffed and Kidritz looked sympathetic for a second before turning to Veneer, "Som. Veneer. What was life like when you were young? Did you go to an orphanage or something?" He asked, trying to get an answer out of him. He didn't want to trust Velvet after what he heard in their room.

Then, with a few stares of disbelief and without thinking he replied, "We grew up in the suburbs, we weren't that poor. Our parents were dentists and they died only recently." Then he finally realised what he was saying, basically saying in front of Velvet that she was a liar and on TV too. He shut his mouth immediately and didn't look at Velvet's face even though from a side glance she stared at him infuriated.

(After the interview)

Velvet threw Veneer into their room and began screaming at him, throwing whatever she could teach at him. A couple books hit him but she just continued wrecking their room. Their assistant Crimp was peeping in through the door, not wanting to get involved but Veneer glanced at her a few times terrified and still dazed from being hit with a hard back book.

When he saw her picking up a glass that sat on the side table, he screamed and tried moving away quickly but she threw it and it hit him on the head really hard, shattering. Tears didn't even have time to form they just ran down his face as a slash on his face bled. She picked up another, smashable item and threw it hard at Veneer as it smashed just past his face. Shard of glass were beginning to imbed themselves in his skin and he crawled away from her, his legs hurt and his face too.

Veneer looked up just as she grabbed him and dragged him up, just to kick him down again. "YOU DON'T WANNA SPEAK HUH?! WHY DID YOU SAY THAT?? EVERYONE IS NOW GONNA THINK THAT WE ARE LIARS AND FRAUDS!" She hit him over the head with her hand, then looked around for something else. He tried saying something she yelled again, "SHUT UP!"

Then, she remembered something. Velvet ran to the closet and dug through it until she found something, "Vel.. please, I'll never do it again! I promise! I promise I won't ever do it again!" She didn't listen. She turned around and he saw her holding a roller skate in one hand. she came over and brought it up above her head, Veneer's screams echoing down the hall as Velvet hit him over and over with the skates.
