johnnie's pov
I got out of bed to the sound of jake and scuff watching tv. It was about 11am, so I got up and got dressed like normally. even though I didn't want to get up, talking to jake made my day. we always make gay jokes on camera, but I wish they were true. I like him. I love him. I want to know how his lips feel against mine. I know it sounds corny, but it's true. I wanna make a move, I just don't know how, or if he even likes me back. I don't even think he's gay
after brushing my teeth, I walked into the living room to see jake and scuff laughing at a shitty movie. "did they even think the script through?!" jake laughs. "I don't think there was a script to being with!" scuff and jake laugh harder and I louden my footsteps to let them know I'm here.
"morning johnnie. took you long enough, there's probably leftover breakfast on the counter." jake says. "shit I'm gonna be late." scuff says panicking. "for?" I look at him. "tara wanted me to come over for a video!" he yells while running out the door.
jake stares at me. not in a creepy way, he was.. staring into my eyes. I hate eye contact, and tried to avoid it, he realized he was staring and just looked down. I sit beside him and he puts his hand on mine?! I just stare at him. he looks back at me, and I feel myself heating up, I could tell he noticed, because he grabbed my chin with his hand.
jakes pov
he's so pretty when he's nervous.
pretty? I don't know if I'm gay, I didn't even like men before I met johnnie. I knew he liked me, tara told me about it. I love him. I wanted to do something. I know he didn't want to get into a relationship yet, even though his ex-girlfriend cheated on him years ago, it still messed him up.
I pulled him closer to me, and kissed him; nothing weird, just kinda like how we did that one time at that party. but this time it was real. as I pulled away I saw he was red and his heart was beating fast. "jake..you—-you kissed..." he tried to make out words in a shaky voice.
johnnie's pov
he pulled me towards him onto my bed and wrapped his arms around my waist. I put my head on his chest and enjoyed the moment. I finally had him to myself, "I love you" he says as he falls asleep. "I love you too, jake."
