chap 8: The Past

It has been five days since the engagement. Five days since I kissed her. Still I could feel her lips on mine . I don't even know how many times I have revisited that moment .

I got a call from Kirti Brila , Aurora's mom five days before. She said she was very happy that Aurora started to live her own life by throwing the ideas of getting revenge aside. But Little did she know that the act of marriage was her step to revenge.

These five days, the whole company is working day and night without any break . After the open challange of Edward to destruct the launch of our new app , we have been working extra cautiously.
When my dad got this news .
He just said "give your best " .

I don't want him to get interfere between my revenge , and he agreed.
And successful, we have launched the app today morning.

Was earning Edward's wrath worth it ?
Was talking step for supporting Aurora worth it ?
Yes .
She was and she is always worth it .

Iam on my way to the success party of the launch of new app . When I enter , I am greeted by my partners and friends. But my eyes only keep searching for her . For the person who makes me feel alive.
And finally, my eyes land on MY FIANCE.
Ahhhhh ... When I say My finance, something warm fills my heart . She might think this just as an act of revenge. But for me . It is more than that . From the moment she said yes . She belongs to me no matter what the situation is.

Her black gown screams 'Azriel come and touch me' .
I make my way towards her .

My fiancée turns and when our gazes clash, a current sparks through me.
I slide my hand on her waist to bring her closer.
When she is bound with me , I feel alive.
Her scent which lingers around me makes me intoxicated. I swing her , and bring my lips to hers . She doesn't push me though , I take this as my opportunity to deepen my kiss .
When I break, it is the first moment I notice my sister ,Kai and my mother standing near us .
Aurora looks at me like she wants to burn me at the stake.
But fine , it was worth it .

" Huhh .. hi mom , hi Noah, I hope you have met my fiance, " i point towards Aurora.

My sister laughs and elbows me .

" Azriel, we have already met . And it is you , who is lost in the fog of love "

"Indeed" I kiss Aurora on her cheeks .

Oh God , I couldn't keep my hands within me when I am around my little fox .

My mom hugs me and congratulates me for both the engagement and success of our new app .

After few minutes, my dad grabs the attention of everyone and thanks everyone for their support.
When the party ends , we leave for the dinner .

Did I move my hands from Aurora 's waist throughout the party . No .

During the dinner , my sister throws out lot of questions to Aurora about how we feel in love . It was damn fun to watch her blush and answer by making up some stories . During the entire dinner my whole attention was on the girl sitting beside me . I gently stroke my hand on her thigh which made her cheeks more red . She tries to Remove my hand , but it tempts me move upward .

" Awwwwwwwww , I want somone who looks at me the way Azriel looks at you Aurora" my sister whines

" Sure .. definitely you will find your love of your life one day the way I did " Aurora genuinely smiles ..

Did she call me her love of her life .
Fuuuuuuucccccccccccckkkkkk.
She is going to be the death of me.

After the dinner,
I offer to drop Aurora , which she reluctantly agrees .
Throughout the drive , neither I start the conversation nor her . We both enjoy the silence.

I drop her infront of her appartment. When I am about to leave , I notice her trying to say something.

" Do you want to say something? "

" Yess...--- I mean noo "
She hesitates .

"Come-on Little fox , don't hesitate. Ask whatever you want . " I say .

"Okaay .. haaaaaa ..why don't you come inside .
It is very cold here . " She suggests .

Ofcourse luck is showering on me .
" Sure " ..

Her appartment is very beautiful just like her .
Cozy.

" You live with Kiara here ? I ask

"Yes . Kiara would be late today . She is staying at the office because Kai has assigned her some works . "
I nod .

Iam proud of my cousin. He is doing his job perfectly as I said .
Even five days before I assigned him to keep an eye on kaira incase she creates a scene As expected she was on her way to slap Edward when he tried to get inside our office. But Kai managed the situation , and ended up getting Bitten by her . It was damn funny when Kai narrated .

Aurora gets up and brings some wine . She hands me one glass and takes one for her .

" Haaa ..the thing I wanted to ask is .."

"Spit it out little fox "

" What happened four years back Azriel? "
She stares at me as if I said I have added poison on her drink.

" You want to know the truth little fox "
She nods

" Then listen ".
