Chap 13 : Mrs Arthur

AURORA

I stare at our marriage certificate in disbelief. All it took was a few minutes and a couple of signatures for us to be legally married. It doesn’t seem real, but I know it is. The people attended the ceremony was just my mom ; Kiara ; Kai ;Azriel' mom, Blake Arthur ; his dad ,Declan Arthur ; and his sister Noah Arthur . I felt like whole things was rushed and
it felt impersonal . I don't know why ,may be because I lost trust over the thing called marriage.

Mom has left to India just few hours ago . So it's just me and Kiara on our way to the appartment . Did I mention the fact that My husband is driving us ?

Husband... Oh God . I feel very weird .

“Is it really necessary for me to move in with you?”  I ask as Azriel parks in front of my apartment.

“Yes,”  he says, his voice soft. He turns to look at me and smiles gently.

He’s been different from the moment we signed the paperwork. He’s calmer, somehow. I can’t quite put my finger on what it is exactly.

"Ahhmmm, Excuse me .. Iam still here!??"  Kiara exclaims .

Azriel chuckles and gets out of the car giving us the needed privacy.

"Babe  are you sure you can live alone ? Why don't you just come with me to his- our new house ? "
I ask her

" No Aurora. I am fine . Really . I promise you  , I'll  call you the moment I need anything. Okaay ? By the way it would be goooooodddddd if you two had privacy. " She winks .

I blush . I don't know why . I blush .

Azriel sits down on my bed, his gaze pensive. It’s odd having him here. He looks huge sitting on my small bed, and having him in my space makes me feel strangely flustered.
What will it be like to live with him?

"I’m ready,”  I tell him as I close my duffel bag. “This is all I really need for the next few days.”

Azriel nods and takes the bag from me.

“I’ll have some movers come in to pack the rest for you.”

I glance around my bedroom, my heart heavy.

Azriel looks at me and comes closer " Mrs Arthur" his voice low and dangerous.

" Don't worry about anything , Everything will be alright. Just wait till tomorrow morning , you will gain your lost hope . You will succeed in whatever you were planning for . We will succeed . We will Avenge Edward steel. Just trust me Little fox. "  He brushes my hair .

I nod

I say my final good bye to Kiara  . I hug her tightly reluctant to let her go .

"Shhh Iam not that far away Aurora . Just few minutes of travel,  also we would be meeting daily at office. And I am warning you I might pop at your place anytime I wish for . " She laughs .

"Fineeee . Bye babe . Take care . Call me anytime. " I hug her one last time .

Our new home is pretty big.  It has 3 extra room excluding a master bedroom. A hall , an office room  a kitchen and a beautiful cozy garden. The furniture were personally purchased by Mr Azriel Arthur aka my husband.

I think I should hunt down the butterflies which flies inside my stomach whenever I say Azriel my husband.

My heart is thumping in my chest as I sit up in Azriel's  bed, my most conservative pajamas covering every inch of me. I purposely chose the
ugliest, rattiest, most old-fashioned pajamas I’ve got.  I can’t even figure out why I’m acting this way. I’m not one to get scared, or to be intimidated, yet the idea of spending the night with Azriel
fills me with a strange kind of anxiety.

"What are you thinking about so hard?”

My eyes widen when I see him standing in the doorway with nothing but a Black pant  on. My eyes roam over his body, and my face flushes instantly. I always thought he looked amazing in a suit, but he
looks far better without it. My eyes settle on the waistband of his pant , where a deep V is clearly visible below his abs. I know that he works out every single day, but I never quite realized what the result of that would be.

“Aurora ?” he says, his tone amused.

He laughs, and I glance at him, my heart skipping a beat. He looks so ridiculously sexy .I don’t think I’ve ever seen him look so relaxed, so disarmed.

"Little fox " he murmures .

“There’s an important aspect of our wedding ceremony that we missed out on.”

“What part?” I ask, confused.

“The part where I get to kiss the bride.”

My eyes widen, and I look away, flustered. My embarrassment earns me another chuckle from him, and I see him shake his head from my peripheral vision.

“You’re so fucking cute,” he murmurs.

“I didn’t think you could get more beautiful, but I think I like you best just like this. Your long hair falling down your shoulders, your face devoid of any makeup. It just highlights how naturally beautiful you are, Mrs Arthur "

Mrs. Arthur . I don’t think I’ll ever get used to hearing him say that.

He reaches for me, eliciting a soft yelp from me when he lifts me into his arms and positions me so I’m practically sitting on his lap .

"Aurora " he whispers, his voice husky. “Look at me.”

I bite down on my lip, my entire body tensing at those words.

“Look at me, wife.”

I do as he asks, my heart hammering in my chest. My cheeks are flushed, and I can barely make myself raise my head

" I can be a gentleman, sleeping in the corner of the bed and facing the wall ..
But the actual question is do you want me to be a gentleman Aurora ?"

He cups my face, his thumb brushing over my bottom lip as his gaze lowers. I inhale sharply when feel him harden
underneath me.

I don't know.
Do I want him to be a gentleman?
Maybe ?

"No" I whisper.

My gaze drops to his lips, ,
yet he doesn’t move. He just stares at me, waiting patiently. I lean in a little, my lips hovering over his.

Without wasting a second he captures it .

"Fuck little fox " he groans.

" I .. we have a huge task tomorrow... And it's late ...you need rest ..
Go to sleep Aurora .... I have something to take care ... " He looks at me to read my reaction for this .

I just nod .

"Good night wife" he winks and leaves the room .

I don't know what to say . Is he giving me space ? . Does he thinks that I don't feel for him just like he feels for me  . He is an idiot .  Dot .
Fine may be I might have never expressed to him . How could I , when everything was  rushed this fast ?

" I think Iam falling for you Azriel" I murmur and dive into sleep alone in our bed .
