"Derek, listen. Her father is an important figure for the country. So that makes her just as important as you. We both know how you play with women. Don't shittalk me." His mother gets just more angry. "Miss Danforth.. is this true?" Koda said, worried. Derek's mother continued to be furious and she gave you an icy stare.

"I have feelings for her. I am not playing with her. She is nothing like the other girls I have previously engaged with. She is an angel, and she deserves the world." Derek looks her in the eyes, hoping she can see how genuine he is with you. Koda smiles. "I've warned you, just saying.. Treat. Her. Real. Well." Derek's mother declared, she leaves slamming the door. The two of you are now alone again, and the silence that took hold after his mother slammed the door was almost deafening.

You noticed how Derek's eyes were red from the whole argument, but he now was smiling because he knew his mother was gone.

"Let's just forget about my mother, and this argument. I think we had a good moment between us..." Derek said as he walked closer to you. "Derek.. was that true..?" Koda says in a quiet tone. "The girls and the.. sluts and the.." she rambles, stressed and worried. Derek smiled softly at you and it looked quite genuine. He didn't want to disappoint you by having to lie.

"Yes... it was." Derek admits, it was difficult for him to find someone who wasn't into him because of his family status so he was forced into having to play the field until he met you.

He looks at you, he doesn't want to hurt you because your heart belongs to something true and real, "It was. Those girls were just an outlet for my needs. But you...""Your what..?" She looks at him with a confused face. "I'm what. What am I?" She says in a defensive voice. Derek stares at you and he realizes he didn't phrase it correctly.

"You're not one of them... those girls were a release, a physical release, but you..." He trails off as he searches his mind to find the right words.

"What I see with you is real." These words feel almost like a confession and a promise that he is going to treat you the way you deserve to be treated. "Real, you say?" She looks at him and raises her brows. She huffed. "You definitely don't have a list of girls you want to catch? Or.. or I don't know cameras here?" She says aggressively. Derek's eyes widen a bit, he wasn't expecting this level of aggression and distrust. He looked straight at you and you saw a genuine feeling in his eyes, you felt his words were true.

"There is no list of girls I have. There is no camera. The only thing that matters to me is you. You are all that matters right now, and I don't want to give this up for anything." He says this very intently and it sounds nothing like the Derek that was taking over women before. "Is.. is that a tear?" She giggles. "Whoa! The brave, rich hottie sheds a tear for me!" She starts laughing. Derek keeps staring at her with a sad, pale expression and big, worried eyes. "Wait.. you.. you really love me, don't you?" She says, visibly surprised by this information. "Derek.."He is taken aback by the sudden switch of emotions, he was prepared for anger, but not joy. He has never truly felt this way for anyone before, and he is starting to feel his life changing right in front of his eyes.

Your response brings joy and happiness to his eyes, and he was stunned when you asked if he really loves you.

He walks over to you and gently places his hands around your face, wiping the tears from his eyes.

"I do. I love you."
