"So you're telling me." Jeongyeon paused dramatically, looking at Y/N incredulously as they sit across each other in their hotel room's living area.

"Somehow, your ring fell and you magically ended up kneeling in front of Im Nayeon whilst holding your goddamn ring like you're proposing to her?"

"...Uh huh." Y/N nodded her head, not really paying attention to the conversation and instead scrolled through instagram on her phone.

"And what did you do after that? Did she say anything to you? Did anyone else see you?

"Nothing, I just apologised and went on with my day. I... don't think anyone saw us."

Jeongyeon narrows her eyes, not believing what satisfies with the rookie's words, "You think? Do you know what misunderstandings and false narratives can get out if someone actually saw the two of you and stared recording?"

As soon as Y/N hears her manager's aggrieved tone, she looked up from her phone, matching the seriousness in her tone, "Her fans are crazy, and that's precisely why I avoided her immediately after apologising. I don't want anyone to think I'm riding her coattails and I don't want trouble."

"That was a dumb moment, I admit. But also, I can't believe she's the mystery celeb! I love her music."

Jeongyeon stares at her for a moment before sighing, nodding her head in understanding before standing up with her bag in hand, "Just be careful next time, okay? She's a nice person and I'm not asking you to avoid her, it's just... moments like that can be easily twisted and destroy you."

"All the managers have a meeting with the crew, so you have about three hours or so before we start a photoshoot trial. Be ready by then, capiche?"

Y/N nods her head obediently like a child being scolded before receiving a right lipped smile from her manager. Jeongyeon walks out of the hotel room because she had some errands leaving Y/N all alone in the five-star hotel that was mysteriously booked for her even though she should be in some average and old hotel.

Considering her rookie status, she should not be in a five-star hotel with a wide window showing the a perfect view of the ocean. This was a known fact.

Oh, she wonders how and why did this happen and who made it happen. She truly wonders.

It didn't take a PhD or an IQ of 200 for Y/N to realise Mina must have used her connections in order to arrange this for her and Y/N must admit, she would prefer staying in a five-star hotel considering the photoshoot would be constantly filled with late nights and early mornings.

And as if on perfect timing, her phone started to ring and without even looking, Y/N knew who it was.

I mean, there was only one person who set her ringtone as the Harry Potter theme song.

"Hi." Y/N lowly said, already with a small smile without even hearing the other party's voice on the phone.

"...Why do you sound so suspicious? What are you up to?" Mina's voice was soft and meek, Y/N could hear hushed tones in the background but she didn't mind.

Y/N laughs because she knew the Myoui thought she was in trouble for the millionth time.

"Hey, I haven't caused any trouble... yet! I've arrived at the hotel and I was about to start unpacking. I have to leave in three hours though."

If it weren't for the eerie silence of the hotel room, Y/N would surely miss the mix of a whine and a groan of dissatisfaction from her wife's mouth, "I wanted to FaceTime you but I can't for three hours or so too."
