The woman was wearing a white blouse, stylish black trousers, and a vintage Chanel clutch was lavishly hanging from her shoulder. She was not tall nor short, just enough to make everyone's eyes focus on her once in a while.

She was extremely beautiful and gentle looking that it hurt just to look at her.

Although Y/N was very disgusted and despised her for her shameless mistakes, she couldn't deny that Kim Jennie was a very attractive woman.

She was delicate, had an excellent family history, and was both youthful and bright.

Who could have the guts to harbour any ill feelings for her?

If this was in the past, Y/N wouldn't even dare to spare a glance to other women when they were together.

However, after discovering the betrayal she and her cousin had done just below her nose, the only feelings she felt for her now was indifference.

It was only worse that Jennie chose to believe Taeyong's childish lies at the restaurant instead of listening to her.

Right at that moment, Y/N gave up on her. She even felt as if she was blindly in love with her for the past eight years that they've known each other.

"Y/N, it's really you. What... business do you have here?" Jennie's gentle eyes swept across her ex-fiancée's face, frowning a little after she shot her question.

The Osoroshi Banquet hall was not a location that can simply be accessed by outsiders.

Citizens who had little to no influence nor power had no reason to even step a foot inside the extravagant clubhouse.

Considering Y/N's status, she shouldn't even be seen there.

There was only one way she could've gone in. Someone else of high calibre had brought her in.

Jennie's face visibly sank in shock when realised this, her mind suddenly wandered off to the night she saw Y/N and a mysterious woman rendezvousing in an Aston Martin.

"I don't need to explain things to you anymore. It's none of your business now, really." Y/N's eyes that were once filled with warmth whenever she stared at the woman had now turned cold. Unfriendliness radiated off her body.

Her cruel attitude and the way Jennie couldn't recognise the emotions in her eyes anymore made her frown.

She stares at her with a solemn gaze, feeling distressed as she spoke, "Y/N, even if we already broke up, it hurts when you speak to me like that. I've told you before, if you need anything you can come to me."

"I'll be there for you as long as it's something I'm capable of doing. I don't care how much you hate me, just don't do something you don't want."

A deep and confused frown creased Y/N's face when she heard the last sentence Jennie spoke.

But slowly, she realised what she was insinuating.

She was talking about her relationship with Mina.

If it was possible, the air around her seemed to have gone cooler and even more hostility filled her face as she scoffed, "How can you even say that? Miss Kim, do we know each other well? How well do you know me to say that I'm doing something I don't like?"

The way her name 'Miss Kim' left Y/N's mouth dripping with unfamiliarity made Jennie's expression go darker.

Searing flames of anger and uncertainty lingered in her sharp cat eyes. Whatever was going to leave her mouth was bound to cause even more damage to the both of them.
