Samaria jogged down the stairs, her feet barely grazing the wooden steps as she made her way to the kitchen. The afternoon sun poured through the windows, casting a golden glow across the living room.

Dressed in fitted black biker shorts paired with a cropped graphic tee, her beige Yeezy slides softly padded against the floor as she moved. Her naturally curly hair was left out, wild and free, framing her face with soft spirals that bounced with every step.

She grabbed a cold water bottle from the fridge, taking a quick sip as she mentally ran through her plans. Today, she was headed to Brook's place to get her lashes refilled—it was a must before flying out to see Kentrell for the first time.

Her heart raced just thinking about it. They'd been talking for a minute now, and meeting him in person had her on edge in the best way.

Samaria had already had her nails done fresh acrylic white French tips on her nails and toes—clean, classy, and just how she liked it.

But she knew that a good lash set from Brook was the final touch she needed to feel fully confident. Brook was her go-to; no one else could get her lashes looking perfect like that.

Stepping outside, Samaria felt the cool breeze hit her skin. The neighborhood was quiet, save for the distant hum of traffic. She made her way to her sleek white amg mercedes , which sparkled under the sun.

The leather interior was warm as she settled into the driver's seat, the scent of her vanilla air freshener mingling with the soft perfume she'd spritzed earlier.

With the push of a button, the engine purred to life. Her phone automatically connected to the car's Bluetooth, and "Karma" by Summer Walker flowed through the speakers, matching her vibe perfectly.

Nodding along to the beat, she backed out of the driveway, the song setting the mood as she cruised through familiar streets.

The drive to Brook's house was short, just twenty minutes past rows of neatly trimmed lawns, kids riding bikes, and a few joggers enjoying the sun.

As she navigated the streets, her mind wandered to her upcoming trip. Meeting Kentrell felt surreal—exciting and nerve-wracking all at once—but she was ready.

Pulling up to Brook's house, anticipation buzzed through her. Getting her lashes done was more than just looking good; it was their time to catch up. Samaria always cherished the moments they spent together talking about everything from the latest drama to their goals and dreams. It was their little ritual, and it always left her feeling recharged.
